Chapter 32

Kirstie's POV

"Mitch?" I asked. He's been stuttering like hell, nobody can understand him.

"What's up with you and Kaden?"

"Kade... she's my, uh. Kaden is my, she's my."

"She's your?" Kevin asked

"Kade's my sister."

"Wait, what?" Scott said

"What do you mean? How can she be your sister? She's Kirstie's sister, right?" Avi asked, getting confused as we all were.

"Remember when she got shot, by Matt?"

"Yeah." We all said

"Well, they asked for my blood, and the doctor suggested that I get my DNA tested, because it usually is genetically transfered. So I did. And it was positive." He said slowly, picking out his words carefully.

"So, we're realted?" I asked

"Most probably."

"That doesn't make any sense, at all." Avi said

"It kinda does." Scott said.

"How?" Kevin asked.

"Well, the three of us know that Kirstie and Mitch never got to see their dads. Their parents divorced. Mitch never got to see Kirstie's dad and vice versa."

"Okay?"

"And Mitch's mom and Kirstie's are very close friends, so..."

"You're saying that Kirstie's dad hooked up with Mitch's mom and vice versa?" Kevin said

"Yeah. Since they also never saw each others step dad."

This is a lot to take in...

Mitch's POV.

"Okay, we'll sort out everything when 'yall took it all in. Okay?" Avi suggested. We all just nodded. "For now, our main concern is Kade."

"I really think she should go see a therapist." Scott said

"Yeah. At least not a treatment center for now." Then Kevin "Mitch, Kirstie? What do you say?"

"She'll hate us." Kirstie said.

True story bro.

"Give her a week. Make her happy first. She's broken right now, and it won't help to say that you think that something's wrong with her" I suggested.

"Yeah. That's true." Kevin said. "Can we just give her some time? A week?"

"Yeah, sure. For now, we need to get her a new phone." Scott said.

"Let's take her shopping?" I asked. We all are, kind of, dumb founded.

Kaden's POV.

I'm lying down of my bed. Just breathing, staring at the ceiling.

"Kade? It's Kevin." Kevin knocked at my door. "Can I come in?"

"Sure." I said.

The knob twisted and then door opened.

"Hey." He said sitting on the swivel chair.

"Hey."

"So, everyone's going to the mall, you wanna come with?" He asked

"Why?"

"Well, first, Scott's gonna buy some new clothes."

"Buy he just bought last two weeks."

"Buy he's Scott. Second, we're gonna buy you a new phone."

"You don't have to."

"We will, and third, we just wanna take a break from all the stress. And bond with Taylor."

"She's still here."

"Kade... Come on."

"Sure, I'll go. But if you allow me to go out with Demi tomorrow."

"Demi?"

"Lovato."

"The Demi Lovato."

"No Demi Moore." I replied sarcastically.

"Yeah, deal. Get ready, we're leaving in ten"
