I know that I hurt you,
But for me the pain's not new.
I feel it times two
Every time I find myself hurting you.
You know that you hurt me,
And I know you hurt, too.
But we have to keep going,
And we'll pull through.
We hurt each other,
And that's toxic in a way.
But we love one another,
So we'll both stay.
This love is ripping me apart,
My whole body, not just my heart.
Because you're too far from me,
For your love for me to stay.
You keep pushing me away,
Ignoring me every day.
And it pains me to say,
I still sit by the phone and wait...
