I'm trying to begin being happy,
I don't know how this will go.
Sometimes life can be crappy,
But I realized I'm not alone.Happiness is a state of mind,
I think I can feel it kicking in.
I've got to stop saying I'm fine,
When I feel broken from within.I need to actually start trying,
Maybe I could be alright.
I've got to stop all this crying,
I know I can win this fight. To any other fellow hippy,
Raise your hands up.
Let your mind wander with me,
Happiness fits like a glove.Life has the possibility to get better,
But I'd rather not wait and see.
Let it go so my heart's light as a feather,
And don't judge me for being me.
