Do you have those days,
Where you wanna break?
Do you have those days,
You can't help but shake?
Do you have those days,
You wake up in the rain?
Do you have those days,
No one knows your name?
Do you have those days,
You're just really blue?
Do you have those days,
Nothing's right for you?
No matter what I do,
It seems I'm always wrong.
And if they even had a clue,
They'd have to read my songs.
I always have those days,
The ones I mentioned above.
And I wait for a sign,
To say that I'm loved.
But the only ones I get,
Are nothing like a dove.
More like a father,
Locked up for drugs. We all have those days,
When we wanna break.
We all have those days,
We can't help but shake.
We all have those days,
We wake up in the rain.
We all have those days,
No one knows our name.
We all have those days,
We're just really blue.
We all have those days,
When nothing's right, too.
No matter what you do,
You think you're always wrong.
And people have a clue,
Because they've read your songs.
I notice when you have those days,
The ones you mentioned above.
And I'll give you a sign,
To say that you're loved.
Different from the ones you get,
I'll send you a dove.
You're nothing like your father,
Locked up for drugs.
