How many times do I have to say it?
This fucking pain hasn't gone away yet.
Life's a game but you can't even see it.
That's why you'll probably never believe this.

Maybe I really wasn't meant to be here.
I talk and talk but nobody ever hears.
It's like I'm the only one with ears,
But our other friends confirm my worst fears.

When I talk they never seem to hear me.
When they talk it's, "You're so funny."
It's as if they don't expect me to see,
Or they just don't realize what it's doing to me.

"Of course I'm okay, I told you I was."
"Don't worry, I'm no longer on drugs."
"I already told you, I don't like hugs."
"Dealer, what you got that'll give me a buzz?"

"I promise that's not why I'm wearing long sleeves."
"Damn it, guys, you're not allowed to see."
"Why can't you all just leave me be?"
"Therapist, what is so wrong with me?"
