Lately I've been doing fine,
And I think I'm moving on.
I've got a boy that's only mine,
And I think I'm falling in love.
It scares me that I am,
And it's because of you.
Now I've got a plan,
To see if love is true.
I won't leave when I get scared,
Which is what I usually do.
I'll wait to make sure he cares,
Then I'll show him I do, too.
I can't wait to see the look on your face,
Knowing you're not my only love.
Maybe then you'll start a chase,
To win my heart with a shove.
I'll leave you hanging,
Just like you did to me.
And I hope you'll see the damage,
When you leave a heart you were meant to keep.
