My friend is gay,
He just told me so.
I'm the first he told,
No one else knows.
His mom is Christian,
And our friends are overbearing.
I guess that's why,
He thinks it's so scary.
I understand how it feels,
If you didn't know, I'm bi.
I wish it wasn't the deal,
But it's been this way so long.
A lot more people are gay than let on,
I happen to know three that are closeted.
I wish they understood it doesn't make them wrong.
We're just a little different.
