The world is full of kids with depression,
But everyone thinks they can do no wrong.
They don't realize it's because we feel the oppression,
And we can't fix what they say was fixed all along.
All we can do is sit back and face the hate,
Which is why we can't seem to think straight.
We're all part of one human race,
And a few of us can't seem to escape fate.
Scarred will be the next generation of mothers,
Trying not to let their children see.
Depressed will be their fathers,
Because they used to get beat.
Our generation is the saddest yet,
Because our lives have been real hard.
It's like life has our happiness bet,
And we'll be gone when sounds the alarm.
