I'm only gonna say this once,
In my life there is no sun.
The walls of my brain are alight,
But in no way are they bright.
They're lighting up with hospital bulbs,
White light with no windows.
They just don't want us to jump,
Sad kids with loud headphones,
Drowning out their thoughts and goals.
Because sometimes it gets real loud,
Feels like there's a giant cloud,
Looming over us.
