So many people take things we don't have for granted,
I guess they don't realize they're a tree that's been planted.
They could be chopped down at any time,
Just to count the rings inside. They say all of our atoms were once a star,
So I guess we all traveled pretty far.
And it doesn't really matter if you have a fancy car,
Or one that doesn't even pop the bubbles on the tar.I guess we've all traveled this road too long,
Searching for the perfect song.
Because every one we've heard has been all wrong,
And we just need to stay strong.
