My friends are the light of my life,
And I could never live without them.
They've stayed through struggle and strife,
Making sure I was alright.
They've helped keep me sane,
Which I thank them for.
In some ways we're all the same,
Which is why we get along.
Some of them are new,
But I don't think it matters.
Sometimes it takes a few,
To restore your heart from tatters.
Even the friends that just became that,
I know you a lot already.
And I love you forever, brats.
You're friends, but you're my family.
