I'm sorry for the way you see life.
I'm sorry for the times you've been beaten,
I'm sorry for your struggle and strife.
I'm sorry for the way things have happened,
I'm sorry you have uses for that knife.
I'm sorry you still hear bones snapping,
I'm sorry you can't see the light.
I'm sorry for how you've been threatened,
I'm sorry you're losing the fight.
I'm sorry you can't see life better,
I'm sorry you're still called a dyke.
