Chapter 11

A couple days later

Still ten weeks pregnant.

Beyoncé

After Kelly's doctors appointment she has become obsessed with being prepared for the baby.. She's almost in her second trimester and that's when the real work starts. We have long time before the baby even gets here.

She even wants to start working on the nursery But she doesn't even know what she's having. However that doesn't even matter to her.

Tonight I want to take Kelly out on a date. I mean we're basically dating and dating means we have to actually go out on dates together. Plus hanging out in bed all day and watching empire doesn't count as a date. But now since Kelly's been feeling better, I want to take her out on a real date.

I walk in the kitchen to Kelly eating a sandwich with what looks like to have everything on it.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Hey" she says with her mouth full.

"So I was wondering" I start speaking as I sit at the island in the stool next to her.

"I was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner tonight"

She swallows and puts her sandwich down on the plate. "Are you asking me out on a date?" She says

"Well yeah "

"Then sure why not" she says taking a bite of her sandwich.

"Great, be ready by 6" I kiss her cheek.

"Put on something sexy" I smirk.

"If I can fit into anything sexy" she commented

"Kelly stop" I playfully roll my eyes.

"What, I'm just being honest" she says." If case you haven't noticed, I've been gaining weight"

Oh I've noticed.

"Kelly"

"I'm eating and eating" she whines. "I'm so hungry all the time, I don't get why you think that anything about me is sexy at this point" and so she continues to eat.

"Kelly I don't care what you look like" I reply taking her hand.

"Just keep saying that" she snapped. She's impossible.  So I thought it was best that didn't say anything back And I just went in the living room and watched some Tv.

Kelly

It's nice that Beyoncé says she doesn't care about my weight but I care and I know she's noticed. I didn't mean to snap at her but right now I don't feel sexy or anything. I haven't felt sexy since I found out I was pregnant.

I finish my sandwich and put the plate in the dishwasher and find her out on the couch watching tv.

I sit next to her on the couch without saying a word.

A little while later

"Welp I'm gonna go get ready" she pats my knee and gets up.
