Chapter 49

Kelly

I don't remember what happened before I knocked out.

Beyoncé brought me upstairs so we could talk and I could rest.

"All I remember is Lala coming over after you left for work and she uh she brought someone with her"

"Who was it?"

"I don't remember"

"Baby, do you want me to drive you to the hospital?"

"No!" I snapped. I feel okay I just I need to rest.

"Okay well I'll be having a talk with Lala and her friend" I was highly upset. "Okay just think did you drink something?"

"Uh I think so her friend said she was gonna make us all some tea"

"Okay yup we going to the hospital" bey said getting off the bed.

"No I'm okay"

"Kelly do you not understand that you were drugged, I'm not risking the life of our child or you"

Okay she had a point.

Beyoncé

"So?" I asked the nurse as she came from behind the curtain holding a clipboard in her hand.

"So her vitals look good but it looks like you were given a large Dosage of antihistamines"

"What?" Kelly asked as I held her hand sitting in the chair while she laid on the table.

"Sleeping pills" the nurse answered.

"So she's gonna be okay right?"

"Yeah She should be fine but whatever happened before you were drugged is gonna be hazy for a while"

I nodded. Thank god she's okay.

"What about my baby?"Kelly asked rubbing her belly.

"The baby's okay surprisingly she wasn't affected by the drug"

I sighed of relief.

"Can I take her home now"

"Yes" The nurse nodded.

A couple of minutes later.

I helped Kelly in the car and I got in on the drivers side. I was so pissed. How could someone just do this to my baby.

On the way home. I decided to take a detour.

"Bey where are we going?" Kelly asked. I could tell in her voice she just wanted to go home and lay down and forget this happened I'm sorry but I need answers.

I pulled up to Lala's house. Before Kelly could even react I got out of the car.

"Beyoncé" she called I could tell she was struggling to get out of the car. I was already all the way at the front door.

I pounded on the door. I heard the car door shut behind me.

Lala opened the door. "Beyoncé, Kelly what are you guys doing here?" She asked.

"Oh we're here because you drugged my fiancé!" I spat

"What?" She asked shocked.

"Don't play dumb okay you and your dumb friend gave Kelly sleeping pills"

"Beyoncé I swear I would never do that"

She seemed to be telling the truth. But how do you not noticed that Kelly was passed out on the couch.

"Well someone did" I crossed my arms.

"Wait a minute"

"What?"

"I brought my friend Regina over with me so she could meet Kelly and we were just talking and Regina offered to make us all some tea after I suggested we could watch a movie maybe she must of spiked your drink but when you passed out I just assumed you fell asleep. Kelly I'm so sorry"

" Lala how well do you know Regina?"

"We met in college and she's in town this week for some kind of big meeting or something"

"Have you ever mentioned anything about Kelly to her?"

"Yeah But it wasn't anything bad I just told her that I work with you and that your a good friend of mine, that's it though"

"Bey can we go now" Kelly whined.

"Do you know where she's staying at" I asked ignoring Kelly's comment.

"Yeah I'll give you the address" she said as she turned to go back in the house.

"Go wait in the car"

"Okay" she said as she turned around and walked over towards the car.

Lala appeared back in the doorway and handed me a piece of paper.

"Here you go"

"Thanks Lala"

"I'm really sorry Bey" she said sadly

"It's okay Lala it's not your fault your friend might be a psychopath"

She laughed. "I'll talk to you later"

"Yep thanks for your help"

She nodded and shut the door and I made my way back to the car. Once I got in I looked over at Kelly and she looked exhausted. I didn't even get a chance to tell her about Shawn and Kayla.

That can wait. Tomorrow I'm gonna go pay Regina a visit.
