The next day

The next few days are gonna be busy. Today I have to have a meeting with Shawn and Kayla and then I gotta go get some answers from this Regina chick.

I got ready for work and kissed Kelly goodbye. I was off.

When I got to work I instantly got my office ready for Shawn and Kayla to come in.

I took a deep breath. I was so focused on other things that I couldn't focus on this. But this is my job I had to focus.

"Beyoncé your 10 o'clock is here" My secretary said poking her head in my office.

"Okay send them in thank you" I said as I sat at my desk.

I took another deep breath. I saw Shawn and Kayla walk in.

"Hi" I smile standing up from my chair.

"Hey" Kayla said as her and Shawn took both their seats.

"How are you both doing today" I asked sitting back down.

"We're okay"

"So I asked you both to come here because I got Kayla's lab results back" I explained

"And?" She asked concerned.

"You have endometriosis" I said

"What's that?" Shawn asked

"It's a condition that occurs when tissue normally found in the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus. It's Endometrial tissue"

"So that's what's causing me not to get pregnant"

"Yes But before we can even think about having a baby we need to remove the tissue first"

"So how do we get rid of the tissue?"

"Surgery and it's a simple procedure you'll be home in about two days or so"

"Okay I wanna have the surgery today"

"Today?" Shawn and I both ask in unison.

"Yeah let's do it right now" she said sure of herself.

"Okay let's get you prepped for surgery then"
