4: Beyond The City of Jaynoos!

Drayko made his decision. He walked up to his chosen Pokémon and picked it up. "I choose you, Orqua", Drayko said with a smile as Orqua licked its new owner's face with its thick tongue in a playful way.

"Excellent choice, Drayko. Orqua seems very loyal to you. I'm sure you both will get along very well. Also, I have something else for you", Arbor takes out a case and opens it. Inside the case lies a red device that you could slip on your wrist. There is black cushion inside for the wrist and there is a camera in the front. On top of the device is an object that looks like it can project a holographic image. Arbor picks it up and hands it to Drayko.

"This is a Pokédex. It provides you with information about any known Pokémon. You should be honored. Not many trainers get one of these", Arbor said. Drayko slips the Pokédex onto his wrist and turns it on. It's touchscreen lights up and the first thing Drayko sees is a pokeball that says "Pokédex: Coex".

"This looks awesome! H-How do I work this, Uncle Arbor?", Drayko asked nervously. Arbor smiled and called out his Poitten. "Just point the camera directly at a Pokémon and press the scan button on the touchscreen", Arbor said.

Drayko pressed the scan button, and a holographic picture of Poitten is projected by the device on top of the Pokédex. "Poitten: the toxic cat Pokémon. A poison type. This Pokémon makes its home in cities and they are popular among the rich. The sharp hairs on its back are tipped with a mildly toxic material and it is advised that you snip them off every week to prevent poisoning", the Pokedex said in a artificial female-programmed voice.

"This is cool...", Drayko said while staring at the Pokédex. "There are 18 gyms throughout the region. You should challenge them when you're a bit stronger to test your strength", Arbor said. "Which gym should I go to first?", asked Drayko. "There is a gym in Simex City. It's in the Densissima Forest region. You'll find it on the map on your Pokédex".

Drayko returned Orqua into its pokeball. As Drayko and Jake began to walk out of the lab, Arbor rushed to the 2. "Drayko! I forgot to warn you about something!", Arbor said urgently. Drayko turned around and asked what the warning was. "You need to know that the Coex Region is far different than the others.  Not only the culture is different, but the Pokémon are more dangerous".

Please...promise me to be careful...", Arbor said, shaking very nervously. The last thing Arbor said reminded Drayko of his mother. Then, Drayko knew something was very wrong. Perhaps his mother had no knowledge of Coex?  Drayko didn't want to overthink things as he knew it would hold him back from his epic journey.

"I promise, Uncle Arbor", Drayko said. Him and Jake walk out of the lab. It is about 3:00pm now, and everyone is walking home from work. Suddenly, a large draconian flys through the sky. He has Jake's features like the blue scaly skin and navy blue hair, but this one was wider and more muscular. Jake spots him in the air and he quickly grabbed Drayko and they went under a shade of a nearby shop.

"What's wrong with you now?", Drayko asked. "He just won't stop looking for me...", Jake said frustrated. "Who? Who keeps looking for you?", Drayko asked.

"My father...", Jake replied with. The wide draconian lands unexpectedly in front of Drayko and Jake. He stands much taller and he's wearing a black tank top and jeans.

"Son...you are coming home right now...", said Jake's father in a deep voice.
