11: The Lethuda Strikes again!

Drayko looked at his friends, wrapped in the string with only their faces seen. They both have traumatic expressions on their faces. "H-Help us...", Violet said quietly. "Oh my god! Are you 2 okay?!", Drayko asked loudly. "Shut up! You'll attract the-", just as Jake is cut off, there is a hissing in the woods. Small trees fell down as something was lurking, staring at Drayko, Jake, and Violet with its multiple red eyes. They glow in the canopy shaded forest.

"It's near...", Jake said. The same Lethuda that attacked Simex City charges in the opening and hisses at the 3. "So you did this to them! I'm not going down without a fight! Orqua, use water gun!", Drayko said to Lethuda as he commanded Orqua to use water gun. It took a hit at Lethuda, angering the spider Pokémon. It used string shot on Drayko and Orqua and the 2 are now trapped on the web with Jake and Violet.

"I'm so sorry, guys. I was trying to help you", Drayko said. The Lethuda begins crawling to the trapped victims slowly. It began powering up hyper fang. "As long as we die together, I'll forgive you, Drayko", Violet said as she holds Drayko's hand tightly. Everyone closes their eyes, waiting to accept their fate.

A sudden impact is heard. Drayko opens his eyes and sees Lethuda collapsed, using 1 leg to support it. Parasweet is above Lethuda. Drayko gasps. "It's the same Parasweet that lead me to you guys!", Drayko said. Jake and Violet's eyes widen in fear due to Parasweet's fairy typing. "The enemy helped you?!", Jake asked in shock. "No...n-not again...", Violet said with tears running down her cheeks.

Parasweet uses peck once more on Lethuda, and quickly uses wing attack on the string imprisonment everyone was trapped in, cutting them free. Jake and Violet hide behind the tree to stay away from Parasweet. "Come on out, Weavile!", Violet said and throws the pokeball. "You too, Scalaby!", Jake said and throws his pokeball as well. Weavile and Scalaby used fury swipes and bite as commanded by Violet and Jake respectively. Unfortunately, their Pokémon were wrapped up by Lethuda's string shot. The string is so thick that the Pokémon couldn't get out.

"We're counting on you, Drayko!", Jake yelled. Orqua ran towards Lethuda bravely and aimed its head at the enemy Pokémon. Orqua slammed its head into Lethuda's head with great force, making Lethuda fall on its back, unable to get up. It finally faints. "Orqua learned headbutt!", Jake exclaimed.

Drayko ran to Orqua and picked it up to hug tightly. "Great work! I'm so proud of you!", Drayko said to Orqua, then turning to Parasweet who was keeping itself in the air. "You did great too, Parasweet!". Parasweet lands on top of Drayko's head. "Get that thing off your head! The enemy will take control of your mind and make you kill us all!", Jake said, shuddering. Drayko held Parasweet in his hand and it chirped happily.

It looks like it wants to join us!", Drayko said as he pets the Pokémon's head. Jake and Violet look in shock. "Um, how about NOT join us", Violet said, eagerly not wanting a fairy type around her. "Let's give Parasweet a chance. It may be useful in our journey", Drayko said as he took out a pokeball and puts it in front of Parasweet. It poked at the pokeball with its beak and it turned into the red energy, getting sent inside. The pokeball shook once, then twice, and the 3rd time, then it stopped shaking, meaning Parasweet was caught.

"I caught Parasweet!", Drayko exclaimed as he held its pokeball in the air proudly. Jake sighed upsettingly, not wanting a fairy type Pokémon near him either. "Let's get out of here before something else shows up", Jake said as him, Drayko, and Violet began to walk out of the woods.

"So, tell me everything that happened", Drayko said to his 2 companions. "We first walked through the city and then we wanted to explore the forest to see what we could find. That's when that Lethuda showed up and took us. It's a good thing you came when you did. We could've been eaten or worse...melted alive", Jake said and then shivers at the thought of being melted from the inside out by Lethuda's acidic venom.

=10 minutes later=

The 3 made it out of the forest unharmed. They are currently eating at the Pokémon center while their Pokémon are getting healed. "What a day it was", Drayko said as he ate a spoonful of his soup. "Is everyone enjoying the food?", the nurse asked as she walked in the dining area. Everyone nodded with their mouths full. "That's great! You should give all compliments to Divivy for cooking this meal!", the nurse said happily as Divivy smiles, wearing an apron designed specifically for it. Jake and Violet froze in shock and dropped their spoons.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH", Jake and Violet screamed, knowing their food was prepared by a fairy type.
