24: E-COlution

The gang is outside of a large white building. The building looks like it's been built unite recently and the front has large windows that show the inside, which appears to be a lobby where scientists congregate. Drayko looks down at the package in his hands.

"So this is C.I.O.I, huh? Nice", Violet said. A woman who appears to be a scientist walks out of the glass doors and spots the group.

"What are you kids doing around here? I hope you all aren't up to any trouble".

Dahlia stood up straight in fear that the woman was assuming something like that. "Of course not, ma'am! We're here for business reasons".

"Such as?". The woman raises an eyebrow.

"We're here to deliver a package. It has something to do with the E-CO project", Drayko said, showing the scientist the package.

"Ah, right. Professor Arbor must have sent you. Follow me, everyone!". The woman turned around and walked into the building. The others sooner followed.

The gang looked from top to bottom of the interior in amazement. The walls were a shiny white, there were many holographic billboards, the lobby's furniture was white, and several scientists and electric type Pokémon were in large numbers.

"Looks like the place is very active! There's so many electric types too", Dahlia said in amazement.

"Yes, we do a lot of innovation and coming up with new power sources that are ran by electric type Pokémon. I believe that Pokémon are our future!".

The group arrives at a hallway. At the end of the hallway is a door with a sign that says "Project: E-CO".

"This is where we developed E-CO and its evolutions. However, we are missing one more, and that is where the contents of that package comes into place".

Drayko looked at the package curiously. "What's in the package anyway?"

"It's a modification called the Antimater Generation Unit; AGU for short. If given to E-CO, it will evolve into an electric and dark type".

The information immediately got Violet's attention. Her eyes widen and she looks like she may explode from joy. "A electric and dark type? Awesome combo! What's the evolved Pokémon called?".

"There is no official name for the Pokémon. We've labeled it A-CO for now. It stands for Antimatter Core. The AGU allows A-CO to produce its own antimatter that we could use as an energy source. In fact, all of E-CO's evolutions were meant to give a clean source of energy. E-CO was considered the "base" and relies on humans for energy. The evolutions however are not fully dependent on humans due to its own energy production. Now, enough chitchat and lets enter the lab!". The scientist opens the bulky door, and everyone goes inside.

Large and advanced machinery were found everywhere in the lab. It reminded Drayko of his uncle's lab in a sort of way. A male scientist walks out of another room and greets the ones that have just entered.

"Hello, Diane. Who are these kids with you?".

"They're the kids that have the AGU package".

"Great! I've been wondering when you kids would get here. I am Dr. Litbol. Give me the package, please. I can take care of things from here".

Drayko handed over the package to Litbol. The man took out a whistle and he blew it. Electric gibberish is heard nearby. 6 figures that are spherical in appearance come out to greet everyone. Each one of these figures had its own physical differences.
