31: PokéOrbs

Dahlia and Drayko looked at the resting Nomey. Dahlia rubbed her shirt pocket, where Nomey resides.

"If it wasn't for you, who knows what would've happened," Dahlia said to Nomey. Meanwhile, Mime Jr was tending to Mrs Mime's injuries that she got from the battle.

"Since I'm not here that often, Mrs Mime takes over my role as gym leader. Mime Jr takes care of Mrs Mime's injuries when she's ever hurt in battles. Also Drayko, I've got something for you." Dahlia goes to a podium at the far side of the room and comes back with a small case. Drayko knew exactly what was inside that case.

Dahlia opens the case, and there is a small badge as expected. It was a pink four-pointed star. On it were smaller stars that were reflective.

"As leader of the Mediokris City gym, I present to you the Mythical Badge. It is proof of your victory." Drayko takes the badge and puts it away.

"Thank you, Dahlia."

"I've got something else to give to you. It's very special, and I think you can put it to good use." Dahlia pulls out a small pink orb from her pocket. It sits there in the palm of her hand, waiting for Drayko to take it.

Drayko takes the strange orb and examines it closely. "What is it?"

"That is something called a PokéOrb. There are 18 orbs for every type. This one is a fairy orb. Give it to a fairy type Pokémon, and their stats increase greatly, and fairy type moves become much stronger. It's the same with other orbs. Keep in mind that the orbs don't last forever, and the power expires after battle."

"This'll work great with Parasweet. Where do you find them?"

"PokéOrbs were thought to be created when Coex was still divided into 18 nations. It is said each nation had a type that represented them. They've created the orbs based on their types. PokéOrbs can be found anywhere throughout Coex. You just have to search good enough."

"That's so cool. I wonder how Coex became united."

"I've heard it was because of some century long stalemate between 2 legendary Pokémon, but I'm not sure..."

"Uh oh. We forgot about Violet!", Drayko said.

"Let's go check on her to see how she's handling herself."

Drayko and Dahlia head over to the farm. They look over the fence, and saw Beautimare was out of the stable, strangely. However, something seemed wrong. Very very wrong. Dahlia spotted a red thick liquid covering Beautimare's hooves. Then, Drayko spotted someone laying on the ground. Most of their body was blocked away by some bushes nearby, and only the legs were seen. Drayko saw that the person was wearing black and white striped leggings and black shoes. Drayko quickly recognized who that person was. His whole body froze, his legs feeling limp.

It was Violet.
