21: Enemy's girl

The girl outside is pushed by one of the male draconians. The gang look at the situation from inside the Pokémon center. "You are disgusting. You reek of enemy all over your body", the male Draconian said to the girl. His skin has grey scales and many horns covered his head. "S-Sir, I am just passing by...I mean no harm at all! Please leave me alone!", the girl begged.

"We can't just do nothing. We need to save her", Drayko said and runs outside. "Something doesn't seem right about her", Jake said to Violet. "Yeah, I agree. I don't even know if we should help or not". "Drayko is out there. I'm sure he'll handle it fine". "If you say so. At least reading is my comfort". Violet takes out another magazine with a Bunnelby wearing a bow tie. Jake watches Drayko from inside.

Outside, Drayko pushes the Draconian away from the girl. "Just what do you think you're doing to her? She hasn't done anything to you!", Drayko exclaimed. "That girl is nothing but a curse. She's a bringer of the enemy! She's...enemy's girl. A disgrace of a being", the Draconian said in disgust.

The girl has pink hair in 2 pigtails tied up with 2 hairpins in the shape of Swirlix, green eyes, a pink buttoned shirt with a light pink shirt underneath, pink skirt, light pink stockings, and white shoes. The girl grabs her bag and stands up. However, a small egg incubator slips out the bag. Inside the incubator is a small pink egg. The Draconian looked at the egg in a mix of fear and anger.

"That egg you got there...what is your plan, hm? Are you planning to unleash an attack? Are you secretly breeding the enemy? Were you gonna hide it until it hatched so it terrorized our village?!", the Draconian questioned. "Of course not! I just found it while I was walking on Route 5!". "Route 5?! You mean the most cursed route in the entire region?! We must end this!". The Draconian takes the incubator and holds it high up in the air, ready to throw it at the ground.

"Please don't! The Pokémon isn't even born yet! You can't destroy something that hasn't experienced life!", the girl pleaded. "You don't understand, do you. We won't have a life of our own if we give the enemy a chance to rise. Everyone step aside. It's time".

"Just what do you think you're doing, Zach?", a female voice said. It was from a female Draconian with gold scales, blue eyes, blonde hair, a white tank top, a pair of jean shorts, and white sandals. Meanwhile, Jake looks at the female, blushing. "Violet, that's Angel outside. She's the most beautiful Draconian in Drako Village!". Violet does not seem interested and reads deeper into her magazine, blushing brightly. "I'm seeing something beautiful as well, but it's in the magazine". Violet blushes brightly.

"Back away, Angel. This doesn't concern you", Zach said. "If it involves my best friend being harassed, I'm extremely concerned". Zach looks at Angel in surprise. "Don't tell me you're actually friends with this...being". "Me and Dahlia are best friends. What she's doing here is non of your business, and you should back off!". "What if I don't, hm? What are you gonna do about it?", asked Zach. Angel takes out a pokeball. "You'll wish you backed off".

Zach and his gang of other Draconians laughed. "You? Battle me? Ha, I'll beat you within seconds!". "Don't underestimate me, Zach. Go Altaria!". Angel sends out an Altaria. Zach sends out a Dragonite. "Dragonite, use dragon rage!", Zach commanded. Angel smiles and seems very calm. "Use moonblast", Angel said to Altaria. Dragonite's dragon rage is countered with the moonblast. Altaria's fairy move is far more powerful than dragon rage and blasts Dragonite. The dragon Pokémon faints and its trainer looks at it in shock.

"What?! But how?". "You should know that Altaria is one of few dragon types that can learn fairy type moves. Shocking, isn't it?". Zach sends back Dragonite and makes a run for it, throwing the incubator in the air. Dahlia gasps. "The incubator! It's gonna get smashed!". "Oh no it's not!", Angel said and catches the incubator with just one finger. The female Draconian hands it to Dahlia.

A familiar blue Draconian is seen running towards the group with a bunch of flowers. "Angel! You done great! I got these for you!", Jake said excitedly, presenting Angel with the flowers. "Jeez, Jake. Keep it in your pants". Angel laughed nervously and pushed the flowers away.

"I'm sorry I couldn't have helped. Are you okay?", Drayko asked Angel. "Don't worry about me. I'm more worried about Dahlia". The pink-haired girl waves shyly at Drayko. "H-Hi there. My name's Dahlia". "Nice to meet you both. My name's Drayko, and here's my travel buddy Jake". "Great to meet you Drayko. I've been knowing Jake for a long time", Angel said. Jake blushes very brightly.

Violet walks to the group. "I saw the battle! What happened?". "Just took care of a little business. No need to worry", Angel said to Violet. "This is Violet. She travels with us too", Drayko said. Dahlia walks up to Violet and smiles. "Hiya! My name's Dahlia! It's great to meet you!". "I'm Violet, and you make me extremely uncomfortable. Please step back".

"So Dahlia, can you tell me what happened?", asked Drayko. "It all started yesterday. I was walking on Route 5 and I came across an egg in some bushes. I was curious about what kind of Pokémon it might have inside, and I figured that Angel would know. I kept the egg safe in an incubator and I finally arrived at Drako Village. Then, all those Draconians began harassing me".

"I've noticed that incubator that Zach attempted to destroy. May I take a look at it? Maybe I can figure out what species it is", Angel said. Dahlia happily handed the incubator over and the Draconian looks at the egg inside. "Hm...I can't make out what Pokémon it's from, but I can tell you that it's a fairy type!". Violet and Jake look at the egg in shock.

"Cool story. We need to go NOW", Violet said, wanting to get away. "I agree with Violet", Jake said nervously. Angel chuckled to herself. "Why is everyone in the village so scared of these peaceful Pokémon? I believe all Pokémon are precious. Anyway, I need to go home. It was great seeing you all". Angel spreads her shining golden wings, ready to take flight.

"Wait!!!", Jake yelled. The female Draconian looks back at the male in curiousness. "What is it?". "Please be my girlfriend! I love you so much! You're so beautiful!". Angel stares at Jake in silence along with the others. "Haha, never". Angel takes flight and flys away. Jake stands there in tears. "Don't worry. There's plenty more Magikarp in the sea", Drayko said, trying to comfort Jake. "She's more than a Magikarp! A shiny Magikarp! No, a Gyarados! A shiny Gyarados!".

"A shiny Gyarados may be very hard to find out there, but it's never impossible. You'll find that one", Dahlia said unexpectedly. "Oh, um, thanks I guess".

"We should get a move on. Electrica City is a bit far. Our goal is to make it there before sundown", Drayko said. "Wait, you're going to Electrica City?", asked Dahlia. "Yep. We just need to deliver something to the C.I.O.I and then I'm going to challenge the gym. I'm traveling all throughout Coex to obtain all the badges and enter the Pokémon league", Drayko replied. "This may be rude to ask but may I come with you? I just need to get back to Mediokris City. Its along the way after Electrica City".

"NO WAY! YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN", Violet screamed. "But why? After running into those guys, I don't feel safe alone. I just think it's best if I traveled with you guys until I get to Mediokris City. I won't be much of a bother". "Of course you can tag along, right VIOLET?". Drayko glared at Violet. "Fine, but do not be within 3 feet of me. I got my eye on you", Violet said to Dahlia.

"What's wrong with Mediokris City anyway?", Drayko asked. "EVERYTHING", Violet screamed again. "IT'S THE ENEMY'S LAIR", Jake screamed. "Enough! I had it with you Violet! I understand Jake but what's up with you?!". Drayko finally snapped, but Violet looked like she was about to explode.

"I ALMOST DIED THERE".
