The gang look around the small town they just got in. There is a old wooden sign that says "Welcome to Pugnatum Town, a tough town on rugged ground." The town has a western feel to it. Wooden buildings, dusty, and quiet. The people that live here seem pretty tough too.

"We finally arrived in Pugnatum Town!" Shouted Drayko. The people around give him a cold stare. Already, they seem slightly annoyed at the gang's presence, similar to the folk down in Tenebris City.

"Keep your voice down, Dray." Violet said. "We don't want to upset these people."

Meanwhile, Jake takes out a bottle of water from his bag to drink. The crinkling of the plastic catches Violet's attention like a Skitty when it hears a bag of treats.

"GIVE. IT. NOW." Violet snatches the water from Jake and gulps it down, drinking every last drop, at the same time bringing even more attention to herself.

An intimidating, muscular man wearing a leather vest, jeans, and a hat walks up to Violet from behind clearly very annoyed. However, he manages to stay calm. Violet does not notice the man.

"Oh, thank the heavenly Kyogre for this watery gift, for this maiden was in need of such succulent liquid..." Violet said, still crinkling the bottle. Violet notices Drayko, Dahlia, and Jake back up.

"Uh, what's up?"

"Th-That guy!" Jake said.

"What guy?" Violet looks behind her and sees the annoyed man.

"Leave." The man said in a deep, raspy voice. Violet backs away slowly and hides behind Jake.

"I-I think we should go find a drink somewhere." Dahlia said, slightly frightened from the man. Nomey hides in its pocket.

As they walk, Dray finds an eatery that looks like a saloon around the corner. Wooden planks for walls, 2 swinging doors, old fashioned windows. Pugnatum Town is pretty much the west.

"We could find something in here. Hope the drinks are good." Dray said and walks into the restaurant, swinging the doors open, which end up hitting Jake in the face. Jake gets knocked to the ground, rubbing his snout.

"Ow! Watch where you swing those things!" Jake said, and gets back up.

"That's what she said!" Said Violet with a smirk.

Jake just mumbles and walks in with the others. The inside had round tables, and old counter, and some lights hanging from the ceiling. The people sitting at the tables just stare at the gang. However, it was very quiet.

"Uh, yeah, we aren't from here! You can stop staring now! H-Heh.." Violet clearly was nervous, but sat down at the counter. A large waitress comes to Violet.

"What can I get you and your friends, girl?" The waitress said in a deep voice.

"Alcohol. Beer, gin, whiskey, you nam-"

"No, we came here for something ELSE to drink. 4 water, please." Dray said.

"Fine. Make one of those waters an iced tea."

Everyone sits down at the counter while the waitress fills 3 big mugs with water and 1 mug with iced tea. She puts it onto a circular tray and sets it down. Dray and Dahlia takes their waters while Jake gets the ice tea, much to Violet's dismay.

"So, what's our plan?" Jake asked Dray and takes a sip of the iced tea. Violet tries reaching for the tea, but Jake easily holds her back with his arm.

"Th-That's mine! Give it!" Violet said.

"There's probably a gym in town, so we could head on over there."

The waitress goes up to Dray. "You said you wanna challenge the gym?" She asks.

"Yeah. Do you know who the gym leader is?"

"Know the gym leader? Haha, I'm in love with him! His name's Collin. He acts as the town's sheriff with 3 fighting type Pokémon at his side. Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Hitmontop."

"So he specializes in fighting types, then."

"Mmm, yes. He specializes in his body too. Big muscular arms... strong chest... rippling abs... go down farther and there's his- AAAHH!" The waitress faints while blushing.

The gang looks down at her nervously. Suddenly, there's a sound of a crash outside.

"What was that?" Dahlia said, turning around.

"Let's check it out!" Jake said.

Dray starts to run, but goes back to the table and throws some tip money at the waitress. "Thank you!"

"Slamale, quit it!"

"You too, Hariyama!"

A Hariyama and another Pokémon are fighting in the town's center while the town's people watched. The other Pokémon looked similar to Whalruph, mostly it's black and blue coloration, but larger. It had a larger belly and thick arms and legs. It was the same size as the Hariyama.

"Who's that Pokémon?" Dray said and scans it with the Pokédex.

"Slamale: the wrestling Pokémon, and the final evolved form of Orqua. A water and fighting type. In its ocean home, it wrestle anything from the fragile Magikarp to the hardy Wailord. It often sees Hariyama as competition due to their same size."

"Maybe that's why they're fighting. Slamale must've seen Hariyama as an enemy." Dray said.

Suddenly, a Hitmontop spun on its head and kicked both of the fighting Pokémon apart. Then, a Hitmonlee kicked Hariyama while a Hitmonchan used a thunder punch on Slamale. Both of the Pokémon fainted.

"Could those Pokémon be-"

"Well done, Hitmon Brothers!" Said a man. He looked about in his early 30s. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a black and brown plaid shirt, brown vest, black pants, a brown buckle with a fist design, and black shoes.

2 trainers returned Hariyama and Slamale into their pokeballs and thanked the man.

"Who's that guy?" Dray asked.

"It's Collin! And the Hitmon Brothers are his team! He sure did break up that fight!" A man said besides Dray.

Dray ran up to Collin. However, the Hitmon Brothers went in front of Collin, seeing Dray as a threat.

"Back away, you 3. That boy's alright." Collin said. The Hitmon Brothers back away, allowing Dray to meet Collin.

"You're a real peacekeeper. And you're also a gym leader?"

"Sure am! I see you met my team."

"They look like pretty strong Pokémon!"

"They're tough to beat too! Are you looking for a gym battle?"

"Yeah! I want to earn my 6th gym badge!"

"You should be proud of yourself, boy. Half of the people who take on Coex's 18 gyms don't make it this far. Of course I'll battle you. I'll be at my gym. It's also a fitness gym!" Collin walks away with his Pokémon. He heads to a large old wooden building with the Pokémon gym logo on top.

"Is that really the gym?" Dahlia asks. "It looks so old."

"Looks like it. Ready, everyone?"

"Yeah!"

(Note: sorry for the long wait, guys! I was just so busy in school and home. I'll be sure to write more chapters. The journey continues! 😃)
