20: Drayko vs. Tristan

=8:30am=
Drayko awakens from his sleep before Jake and Violet does. Jake is asleep on the floor while Violet is tossing and turning in her sleep.

"N-No...get away...Beautimare", Violet said in her sleep. Drayko poked the girl lightly, hoping she would wake up from what seems to be a nightmare. Violet wakes up, and screams from being startled, waking up Jake. Violet began hyperventilating.

"Shh...calm down...it was only a dream", Drayko said, trying to comfort Violet. Her hyperventilating subsides, and begins to calm down. Violet clings onto Drayko's arm and sobs. "I'm sorry Drayko. Th-The Beautimare...". "You don't have to say no more. We've got a big day today".

=9:00am=

Drayko, Jake, and Violet are sitting at the mess hall, waiting for the breakfast to be served. "Parasweet's moves are disarming voice, gust, peck, and fairy wind. Whalruph's moves are headbutt, karate chop, water gun, and water pulse", Drayko said as he looked through his Pokédex. "4 types won't be very effective against dragon. Electric, water, fire, and grass being them. Chances are that my father is going to use Odomok, which is part poison type, giving him more of an advantage against fighting types".

Drayko sits there, thinking for a few seconds, and then smiles. "I will use Whaleruph's karate chop and butthead moves, and I will use Parasweet as a last resort". "Of course you'll use the enemy. Fine, do what you have to do". A large-bodied Draconian woman with dark crimson scales and grey eyes comes out wearing an apron. She places 3 plates of what appears to be omelette with green thorns in it.

"I hope you humans can handle Nroht Berry eggs. Don't make me come out here if you don't finish it", the woman said to Drayko and Violet with a sneer. She turns to Jake and smiles. "I Ylniatrec epoh uoy yojne!". The woman walks back to the kitchen and Jake immediately eats the eggs happily. Drayko and Violet poke their food with their forks, slightly grossed out by the food's appearance. Jake finishes his food and looks at the 2 humans. "Are you gonna eat that?".

=9:50=

After walking out of the Pokémon center and walking through Drako Village, the gang arrives at the gym and walks inside. Despite the rustic appearance of the exterior, the interior was quite modern. Polished concrete floors, smooth concrete bricked walls, bright lights, and a neat dirt battlefield. However, there was a large hole in the ceiling. It was perfectly round as if it was meant for something.

"Where's your dad?", Drayko asked Jake. The Draconian smiles. "Wait for it". A flapping of wings can be faintly heard. The noise gets louder until Tristan swoops into the gym through the hole and lands in the middle of the battlefield. "So that's what that hole is for!", Drayko exclaimed. "Yes, entering the gym needed a bit of style. A great introduction for the leader of this gym. I, Tristan, will accept your challenge...if you are willing to battle with the fierce Pokémon of the dragon typing". Drayko nods and smiles.

A large draconic-looking head sticks out of a corner. Drayko takes notice and it hides behind the wall. "What was that?", Drayko said and points at the corner. Tristan smiles and looks at the direction. "Hydreigon, show yourself!", Tristan yelled. The dragon Pokémon flys to the battlefield and roars. "Good girl. I'm glad that you're safe from harm", Tristan said to Hydreigon, petting all 3 heads. Drayko scans the Pokémon with his Pokédex.

"Hydreigon: the brutal Pokémon, and the evolved form of Zweilous. A dark and dragon type. It sees everything that moves as an opponent. It will not hesitate to attack the target with its 3 heads".

Drayko gulps nervously. "Am I really going to be battling that thing?". Tristan chuckles. "I don't think you're ready to battle a Pokémon like Hydreigon yet, so no, you won't be battling her". Tristan sends the brutal Pokémon into her pokeball and he puts it in his pocket.
