Beach Day?

Mackenzie's POV

Today was the day that I went to the beach with Hayes, Nash, and Nash's girlfriend Vanessa. I was so excited!

I woke up at 7 and got ready. When I was in the shower I used extra coconut shampoo to make my medium light brown hair smooth and good smelling so Hayes wouldn't think I was stinky!

When I got out of the shower I wrapped my towl around my waist and blew my hair dry. After I threw my hair in a side braid I put on my light blue bikini from Hollister with birds on it.

After checking the time I decided that I should pack a bag for the beach. It was only 8:30, anyways.

In my bag I packed a fluffy light pink towel, my earbuds and some tanning lotion.

"Where are YOU going?" my brother asked me as he came down stairs. "To the beach with Hayes, Nash, and Vanessa. Why would you wanna know dweeb?" Hayes was also close to my brother just like he was to me. But Hayes and I were closer then those two.

"And I wasn't invited? Rude!" Ryan said and stomped upstairs.

Wow someone's dramatic!

My mom and dad had left this morning to go to work but they left me some money taped to the stove for the day.

"In case you decide to go anywhere today while we were gone! Mom xx"

I smiled and took the money and put it in my bag.

Today was gonna be great!

Hayes's POV

"Aandkcosnsk" I mumbled as I rolled out of bed and scratched my head. And then I remembered, today I was going to the beach with Mackenzie!

I got in the shower and put my swimming trunks on. I still had some time left so I went into the kitchen to make breakfast for my brother and his girlfriend. She had stayed the night last night after returning from Cameron Dallas's house.

Once I had finished cooking some bacon and eggs I went upstairs with a cup of water to go and wake Nash up. He hated being splashed with water in the mornings!

I tiptoed into Nash's room trying not wake him up. It worked! I splashed the water on his wad and he shot up with his eyes wide. I think he woke up Vanessa to.

"You butthead!" He said while chasing me downstairs with a pillow trying to hit my head but missing. It was funny actually.

---AFTER BREAKFAST WAS OVER---

It was 9:30 and I waited for Mackenzie to come over for the beach.

Any minute now.

As I waited with Nash and Vanessa in the front yard I think Nash came up with an evil plan. His face said it all.

All of a sudden Nash darted towards the hose and screamed "COME AT ME I DARE YOU! YOU CAN'T STOP MEEEE!" I ran behind a nearby bush and I think I heard a scream.

It was Mackenzie!

Nash had sprayed her right in the stomach and she ran over towards him. I saw Vanessa running while ducking her head down to shut the water off.

"GRIER YOU CAN'T GET AWAY WITH THIS!"

I loved the way she was. She looked beautiful today with her bikini top on with her high waisted faded jean shorts on. And her face was gorgeous! I could go on and on forever about her beauty but we would be here all day.

Mackenzie had ran up into our treehouse where we always went just about everyday. It was our place where we went together, just us two. When we were younger we had established a rule that nobody but us could be allowed up there. I loved it up there!

Mackenzie's POV

I was curled up in the corner of me and Hayes's special treehouse. Nash was spraying at the ladder and I heard Hayes climbing up here. It made me feel happy.

He was sopping wet when he finally made it up here. Hayes curled up next to me and put his legs over mine in a fake shiver.

I looked into his big blue eyes an smiled. "We should escape and run to the beach ourselves!" I suggested. He looked out the window and signaled that the coast was clear to run to the beach so we quietly climbed down the ladder.

When Hayes and I had reached the ground I put my bag over my shoulder and he picked me up onto his shoulders. We ran and ran and ran until we reached the beach. Hayes was laughing and running the whole way here.

Eventually Nash caught up to us and playfully punched us both.

"What do you guys wanna do today?" Nash suggested. He was like my older brother.

"Beach Volleyball sounds fun!" I suggested and Hayes nodded in agreement. As we ran over to get to the net I felt myself slip....

And then everything turned black.....
