Just Dance

Hayes's POV

Nash walked in on me and Mackenzie making out. He made a disgusted face.

"Ew you guys, get a room!" We laughed and stopped the kissing.

"Hey at least we weren't doing the 'nashty' because then you would've been so grossed out!" I said to him. He just took his Mac Book and disappeared up to his room.

"Well that was awkward..." Mackenzie said. She giggled and then put her head on my chest.

"Hey Mackenzie?" I asked and looked down at her.

"What?" She was now looking up at me waiting for something.

"I'm so glad that I have you. And that you want to be with me." She smiled at me for a second and then tried to say something back to me.

"I love you..." her voice trailed off.

I've never said that to anyone before but I meant it when I told Kenzie. (Kenzie is Mackenzie's nickname)

"I love you to. Hey I have your hoodie. I'm just going to go grab it and then I'll be back." I got up off the couch and went upstairs to get her hoodie.

Mackenzie's POV

After Hayes left I sat there for a while. Then my phone buzzed.

From: Sayge- heyyy! So wanna meet up somewhere since we love so close to each other?? I forgot to text you yesterday after the plane landed lol

To: Sayge- sure! Where do you live? Haha I sound like a stalker but I need to know if we're going to try and hang out!

Before Sayge could answer me Hayes came running down the stairs with my hoodie on one arm and one on the other.

"Thank you Hayes!" I took the hoodie and tied it around my waist.

"Here. This one is for you to keep to remember me by. Even if we breakup I want you to keep it. Because I want you to remember me." He held out his Davidson Day football hoodie to me.

As I grabbed it I checked for the time. It was already 2:24. I still had about 4 hours left to do whatever.

"Hey Hayes wanna do something fun? OH let's play just dance! Pretty pretty please?" I begged while tugging on his arm.

Hayes laughed and got up to turn the game on.

"I'm gonna kick your ass at this game!" I stated.

"Oh really now?" Hayes laughed. The screen had all of the songs on it. It was just dance four so there were better songs on this version.

"Blurred lines!!" I said. Hayes selected it and we started. It was harder than I thought.

We were dancing until right in the middle of the song I saw that Hayes was ahead of me. "I'm going to catch up to you. Watch out!" I giggled.

I was in the lead by only a few points and a star by the end. "Hahaha you lose! I guess I really was better than you at this. Am I right?"

"Rematch! Agreed?" I nodded and we danced to a whole bunch of songs.

By around 3:30 we were completely tired from all of the dancing. I went over the couch and sat down. Hayes shut off just dance 4 and came to sit down next to me.

"What's next? I wanna do something!" I said. 

"Well, we could just...."
