Mackenzie's POV

I woke up to the loud, annoying sound of my alarm clock. As I rolled over in bed I saw that my phone's time was 6:30

Then I remembered that today I was leaving for Magcon with Hayes!

I got out of bed and ran to the bathroom. The first thing that I did was wash my face. I ran back into my room to go and pick out an outfit for today.

Once I had been in my closet for about 5 minutes I found a pair of leggings and a purple hoodie from Forever 21 that had "Chic" printed on the front of it.

After putting my clothes on I decided on my purple vans. Then I went back into the bathroom.

I curled my hair just because I had extra time left. There were curls everywhere on my head! Not one piece was straight.

Taking a final look in my long boy mirror I noticed that I was missing something. MAKEUP! I only put on a little bit of black eyeliner and I put mascara on. I curled my eye lashes and when I was done I sprayed a few spritzes of my perfume on.

PERFECT.

The time on my phone read 7:11 so I grabbed my bag that I packed for Magcon and headed downstairs to have breakfast.

The only one awake was me so I wanted to surprise my mom since my dad was somewhere else I guess.

I made some bacon and eegs and poured 2 glasses of milk.

That's when I heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs.

Her eyes looked red and puffy from crying. It looked like she had tried to cover it up. To make her feel better I slid her a plate of bacon and eggs. Following the plate was her glass of milk.

My mom smiled but then she motioned for me to sit down.

"Mackenzie I have to tell you something... Your dad didn't just stay somewhere else for JUST last night."

I started to realize where this talk was going and I didn't like it.

"What are you trying to say mom? Are you and dad getting a divorce?"

She started crying and she looked awful. I felt bad so I embraced her in a tight hug.

My parents were getting divorced......

Hayes's POV

I had already woken up, gotten dressed, and was all ready and packed for Magcon. The time was 7:30 so I decided to text Mackenzie to meet me at the airport in 10 minutes.

I got an instant response which made me smile.

To: Mackenzie💕- meet me at the airport in 10 minutes!:)

From: Mackenzie💕- okie I'll be there in 5;) I'm so excited for today!

To: Mackenzie💕- me to! We're gonna have loads of fun! I'll see you at the air porrrrrt

From: Mackenzie💕- Alrighty see you thennnn;)

I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed my bags for magcon. Nash was texting Vanessa, to. Apparently she was coming along with us.

"Ready boys?" my mom said from the deck outside.

"Yes!" me and Nash both screamed at the same time while racing to the car. I put my bag in the trunk and jumped into the front seat, eating Nash to it.

When I got to the airport I kissed my mom goodbye and grabbed my bag out of the trunk.

I easily spotted Mackenzie sitting on a bench waiting for me. I guess that she was here in 5 minutes!
