Hayes's POV

"Here goes nothing. I've liked you for a while now, Mackenzie. You're amazing in my eyes. I just couldn't really find the right moment to tell you that."

She looked up at me and meet her eyes with mine. Then she smiled at me.

"Good because I was falling for you to. Ever since we met I've been crazy for you and your smile."

That's when it started to rain. I put my hands on her cheeks and kissed her on the lips. Damn, it felt so good. I felt her wrap her arms around my neck.

It was a good feeling to be kissed back. When we broke apart she rubbed the back of my neck an laughed because now it was pouring.

I picked Mackenzie up bridal style and ran towards her house. All the way home she had her arms around my neck with her head rested on my chest. Every once in a while I heard her giggle.

We forgot our ice cream cups back at the park but we didn't care right now. At least I was holding Mackenzie in y arms.

Once I reached Mackenzie's porch I set her down on the ground.

"Hey about magcon, I already asked your mom and she said that you could go. All you have to do is pack. Wake up early because our flight leaves at 9:45!"

She looked up at me and nodded. I brought her into a tight embrace and whispered in her ear, "You're amazing and I can't wait for Magcon with you."

Mackenzie's POV

Hayes took me into a tight embrace and then he whispered something in my ear.

"You're amazing and I can't wait for Magcon with you."

His hot breath sent chills down my spine but it was hot, to be honest.

"Thanks but I think that you're pretty amazing yourself." He softly kissed my cheek and we stepped back from our hug.

"See you tomorrow morning at the airport!" Hayes called back to me as he walked down my driveway and into his right next door. It was still pouring so I went inside and went to grab a towel from the bathroom.

As I was walking to the bathroom I heard my parents talking in the kitchen. I sat behind the bathroom door and stayed silent so I could hear what they were saying. I guess they didn't here me come in.

"Nick, I think that this is an amazing opportunity for Mackenzie. I know that you aren't that happy about her flying on her own but he's getting older now. Hayes travels and he's Mackenzie's age."

Then I heard my dad.

"Lexi, I don't like this idea one bit. But whatever. It seems like lately whatever you say goes. So fine let her go but if the plane crashes or she gets kidnapped then its not my fault."

I coughed louder then usual to get them to notice that I was home. My mom came into the bathroom and hugged me while saying hi. She smiled at me and told me that she missed me last night. To be honest I missed her to.

"Where did dad go?" I asked acting as if I hadn't just heard that whole big mess.

"He's going to stay somewhere else tonight. Don't worry he will be back soon."

I smiled and dried myself off with my towel. Once I was all dried off I ran upstairs to go and pack my suitcase for Magcon.

When everything was ready to go I went and started the water to my shower that was in the bathroom connected to my room. Before stepping into the hot water I peeled my damp clothes off and hung them up to dry.

I washed my hair, body and face and walked out of the shower, shutting the water off when I was done.

A few minutes later I walked into my pink room and shut my curtains.

Opening my walk-in-closet I threw my clothes around until I found a pair of underwear, a pair of shorts that had the stretchy waistband and a sports bra.

After drying my hair and getting dressed I fell back onto my bed and fell asleep. I was pooped and I needed a lot of rest for tomorrow.
