I Still Love You

Hayes's POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. When I reached over to pick it up the time said that it was only 7:30 a.m.

Now was probably a good time to get ready for Magcon. I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom with my phone. I was still half asleep.

The door locked at I pushed at the knob. Then I turned the shower on. Taking off my boxers I put some music on from my phone and the first song that played was Viva La Vida.

As my music was playing as loud as it could go I stepped into the shower and started washing my hair first. Then my body was next.

After getting out of the shower I turned the knob so that the water stopped coming out of the shower head.

I took a towel from underneath the sink and rubbed it all over my body.

There was a pair of clean boxers on the counter by the sinks. I grabbed them and put them on. They were from Hollister so they were comfortable.

When I walked back out into my room I found a pair of khaki shorts and a tank top from Hollister. It was red and blue. Then I got my grey vans and slipped those on first.

I put my clothes on, grabbed a room key and my phone and left the room to go and get some breakfast. Besides it was only 7:50 a.m. and I was starving!

When I was walking to the elevator I started thinking about Mackenzie. I loved her a lot and was sad when she went for Trevor.

I wasn't looking and suddenly I felt somebody bump into me. When I looked up I saw Mackenzie with those beautiful eyes that I could get lost in for hours.

"Uh, sorry. My bad," I said while walking fast to the elevator. I didn't want to cause a fight.

I finally reached the elevator and pressed the button to go up. I heard a voice from behind me.

"Are you going to have breakfast to?" It was Mackenzie. She was looking down and fiddling with her fingers. Why did she look so shy? Apparently she had followed me here.

"Yeah." This was starting to get awkward.

"You know we can still be friends," she said while we walked into the restraunt floor. The smell of syrup wafted into my nose and it made me smile.

"Yeah I guess so. If that's what you want because you seem to not want anything to do with me anymore."

Mackenzie spun around to face me. I swallowed hard. I was nervous.

"Hayes," she started. Mackenzie looked straight into my eyes as she kept on talking.

"I, I..." she struggled to get something out but I couldn't understand it.

"What is it?" I said trying to get it out of her. I stepped closer to her but she stepped away.

"I can't do this," I heard her say. She started crying and ran away back to the elevator leaving me here alone, clueless.

Mackenzie's POV

"I can't do this," I said while trying to swallow my tears but that didn't work. They flooded my eyes and I saw Hayes was confused. All I could do was run away.

I went to Trevor's room. I know that we just got into a relationship and everything but it was to soon.

I loved somebody else.

When I knocked on Trevor's door, JC answered it with just boxers on. "Hey what's wrong Mackenzie?"

I just pushed past him and went to find Trevor in his bed on his phone. He looked up at me with concern in his eyes.

You can do this Mackenzie.

"I'm sorry but I can't do us anymore. It's to soon for me to be rushing into another relationship. It's not you, it's me. And I'm extremely sorry."

Before he could say anything I walked back out the door with JC still there.

"Wait!" Trevor called after me but I ran away. I needed to find Hayes because right now he was all I needed.

I love Hayes Grier. Nobody else. No matter how much of an idiot he was. And deep down inside I knew that he was truly sorry for what he had done to me.
