Hayes's POV
As I was trying to fall asleep, I heard a siren outside. When I looked out my window an ambulance pulled up to Mackenzie's house. Her mom came out of the front door and got down on her knees right on the lawn.
Then thats when I saw what I was dreading.
Mackenzie came out on a stretcher. It looked like the life had been sucked out of her.
There was blood covering her right arm.
I panicked. My head was all sweaty.
Was she dead?
Was this all my fault?
Thoughts similar to this raced through my head as I was pacing back and forth through my room.
Shit Hayes. This WAS your fault.
Stupid Jenna had to ruin everything. Why did I even love her?
Mackenzie's POV
It's so beautiful here. I wonder where I am.
When I looked down I was dressed in a beautiful white silk dress and I was barefoot.
I felt a flower crown on my head. It was resting on me without flying off.
Trees of pure green and flowers of bright colors were everywhere.
There was an open field that looked like it could go on for miles and miles. Even longer than the world stretched.
As I was exploring the field, I stumbled upon an old picnic table. And someone was sitting at it to.
I recognized the face instantly.
"Grandma? What are you doing here all by yourself?" She laughed.
"You know what Mackenzie? I think you need a little bit of advice. Some help with one of your biggest problems." She leaned back a bit.
I tilted my head and asked her to keep on going.
"Well you see, I know about Hayes. And let me tell you. That boy has used you so many times. But you know what? Some of the times it wasn't even him who tried cheating on you."
I leaned my arms on the table. "Now I'm done with him. I don't need him right? Please tell me you know something good about this."
She laughed yet again. "Maybe I do and maybe I don't. You tell me. Mackenzie, you have to love somebody from your heart. Whatever direction you feel your heart is tugging you in than you go that way. Don't turn it down. Don't deny it. Just go with it. Always remember that, Mackenzie."
And then the table disappeared. Along with my grandma.
"Wait where did you go?" I called out while standing up off the ground.
But no body answered me.
The wind here blew perfectly. My hair seemed perfect. My skin to. Wait, where did my cuts go?
This place was amazing.
Everything that I've ever wanted...

Short update but at least it's something? Lol
And don't worry..... She's not dead, haha. I wouldn't do that.
