Mackenzie's POV

I ran and ran until I got to the nearest elevator. My tears were dried on my face and I was ready to take Hayes up on his offer.

The elevator didn't seem to move fast enough. On the way up to the restraunt floor I impatiently tapped my feet. That's when the doors finally opened.

Before I could run out I was instantly met with the sight of Hayes standing as if he was about to come into the elevator.

"Mackenzie," he started. I didn't let him finish because I pulled him into the elevator after choosing the floor that our rooms were on.

I waited until the doors closed and then I did what I needed to.

"Hayes I'm sorry..." He pushed me into the wall and we instantly met each others lips. The kiss heated up almost right away.

My hands grasped locks of his hair by his neck. Hayes moved his hands down my body and put them on top of my butt.

He had his tounge in my mouth when we heard the elevator doors open.

We both instantly pulled away incase there was anybody there. There wasn't anybody so we just kind of stood there and giggled.

Hayes picked me up and carried me bridal style all the way to his room. I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck for safety.

I felt safe in his strong arms. Nobody could attack me with Hayes holding me. And that's one of the many things I love about Hayes Grier.

He opened the door and ran over to the bed. I was thrown onto the bed and was quickly met by Hayes's body on top of mine.

"I want you back. I love you. So is that a yes?" Hayes asked me as he moved his lips closer to mine.

I smiled and whispered, "of course," into his ear. He smiled and we kissed again.

After pulling away from the kiss, Hayes moved his hands from my back to my stomach.

He started to tickle me.

"Hayeeees!" I whined. My hand swung at his but that didn't stop him. He kept on tickling me everywhere until I was on the floor trying to save myself, nearly in tears from laughing.

Hayes had me pinned down at this point. His hands holding my wrists down. My legs were underneath his body and my head was turned to the side.

Hayes's deep blue oceans stared right into me. I could almost feel it.

His cologne smelled good. I could smell it from here. And it made me smile.

It got really quiet for a second. And then the door opened.

Oh no! The door wasn't shut all the way!

Hayes quickly got off of me. That's when I heard a voice way to familiar.

"Hello? Is Hayes Grier in here? I found your phone on the ground."

I quickly rolled underneath the bed. My arms were scrunched up to my chest and my legs were hidden from view.

I saw feet. It was Hayes. He had on a pair of Vans. That's when I saw another pair of feet walk into view.

Trevor.

"Yeah, thanks!" Hayes said.

"No problem! And can I tell you something real quick?" I had a bad feeling about this.

"Um, sure."

Trevor began. "You need to stop messing with Mackenzie. Do you understand me? She doesn't deserve to be treated like you treated her. She doesn't need you. Got it?"

Hayes stepped closer to Trevor.

"Now you listen to me. You don't tell me what to do. Get it through your head. If she wanted to talk to me about something like that than by now we would have already discussed the matter. Now I suggest you leave the room before one of us gets hurt. Have a nice day!"

Without any words I couldn't see Trevor's feet anymore. He had left. When I heard the door close I rolled out from under the bed and stood up.

Hayes came rushing over to me and hugged me tightly.

"Stay away from him," he said while stroking the back of my head. I nodded into his shoulder as he rocked me back and forth.

That was a close call. What would have happened if I had been caught?

We both stepped back. I ran my hands over my shirt to get rid of any wrinkles. Hayes took his phone and plugged it into the ihome that was next to his bed.

Did I mention that Shawn was still sleeping through all of this?

And he was in the bed right over by the window!

Anyways, Hayes had pushed the volume button up a bit and than I heard my absolute favorite song come on. Not A Bad Thing by Justin Timberlake came out of the speakers. It was my jam!

Hayes spun around and walked over to me as Justin started singing.

"May I have this dance?" he said while grabbing my hand and kissing it.

"Of course!" I giggled and grabbed Hayes's hands. Our fingers intertwined and he pulled me close to him.

My head rested on his shoulder. We swayed back and forth in peace.

And at that moment I knew that I trusted Hayes. I loved Hayes. I needed Hayes. I felt Hayes's love. We had a special connection.

And that's what I love about us.
