Weakness

Mackenzie's POV

It was the first day of school. The day that I had been dreading the whole summer!

I got up and out of bed. My closet was open from yesterday. I organize a lot when I'm nervous.

My outfit that I was going to wear was a cute little orange floral skirt with a tight fitting black top. There was lace on the sleeves and the top of the back of the shirt.

After quickly taking my pajamas off I slipped into my skirt and shirt. It fit comfortably and it adjusted to every curve on my upper body.

For shoes I picked up a pair of black combat boots. They made my outfit look messy but a good messy.

My makeup was next. I went into the bathroom and found my makeup bag. It was unzipped already so I just took out my mascara and eyeliner.

It took a while for me to perfect the cat eye look. But it payed off in the end! The mascara made it pop even more.

With all that said and done I moved on to my hair. I straightened it and French braided a headband around the front of my head.

My perfume was the last step. I put on a few squirts and was ready to go!

I grabbed my new Vera Bradley bag with all my school stuff in it (including my phone) and went downstairs.

My mom and dad were sitting at the kitchen table. Ryan was eating a bowl of cereal at the counter.

"Honey you look gorgeous! You're going to rock the first day of school!" She smiled and I went over to give her a hug.

"Remember to not drop out of school!" my dad said all jokingly.

I laughed and have him a hug to. "Want anything before you leave?" my mom asked.

I shook my head no. My stomach felt to sick for me to be able to eat anything.

"I'll walk to school with Hayes. Bye!"

I walked out the front door. Hayes was walking at the end of my driveway. He smiled when he saw me.

"You look beautiful babe! Like I mean stunning!" I giggled and ran to give him a hug. He smelled like old spice.

As soon as the hug ended he grabbed my hand and ran until our houses weren't in sight. Hayes then grabbed my waist and kissed me so passionately. I asked for entrance and he granted it.

We made out for about 5 minutes. When we were done I had to fix my hair again. He just grinned at me.

"Now that is what I call love! I hope that we can do more someday." I looked at him and he winked at me. Oh the things he says!

"Oh I'm sure that we'll do way more than what you're thinking babe." I smiled and kissed him. Short and sweet.

Once we got near the school Hayes took my hand in his. He rubbed his thumb over my knuckles and it made me feel protected.

As soon as we stepped into the hallway I felt weak. But why?

It felt like I was in one of those slow motion movie scenes where everybody was watching you.

There we're mean glares and snickers coming from a lot of people but a few waves and smiled.

That's when Ariana the school bully stepped out in front of us.
