Hide And Seek

Hayes's POV

Magcon was over before I knew it. The day had gone by so fast.

We were leaving the building that Magcon was in to get into our taxis. Then I spotted Mackenzie.

I ran up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. She giggled and put her hands on mine.

She looked back at me and said, "I love you Hayes Benjamin Grier. Always and forever."

I pecked her softly on her lips. She got into the taxi and I sat next to her. All the way back to the hotel she rested her head on my shoulder and her arms were around my neck.

"Let's play hide and seek in the whole hotel!" Carter suggested as we all went into Mackenzie's room and plopped down on the floor.

"Can we pair up? Its kind of lonely without anybody to hide with," Cameron asked.

Everybody called partners. I was with Mackenzie. Jacob and Mahogany were partners and they had to count first.

I grabbed Mackenzie's hand and led her away to the hall. I had a place in mind.

We were going down the hall when she asked me, "Where do you plan on hiding?"

"Shawn let me take the spare room key. So we're going into my room. Nobody will find us in there!"

She smiled and ran ahead of me to my room, dragging me behind her. I was forced to run unless I wanted to fall down on my face.

I let go of Mackenzie's hand so that I could find the key in one of my pant pockets. Soon enough I found it and unlocked the door. We walked in and shut the door behind us.

Mackenzie went out onto the balcony and sat down. The sunset looked beautiful. But what made the scenery that much better was her.

I went over to the balcony to and sat down in the chair next to hers. She turned her head towards me and started talking.

"You know, do you ever wonder where we would be right now without each other? If we never grew up together or never fell in love. I think that I would have gone nuts by now. I don't know why but I just feel it."

I looked into her eyes and she looked back into mine.

"I don't know what I would do without you. It's a crazy world out there but when I'm with you I feel safe." She grinned at me and looked down at her lap. Then she looked back up at me.

"Never let me go. Ever." And with that she leaned in for a sweet soft kiss. No tounge. Just a simple kiss. You know, the one that makes you go crazy. Yeah, that one.

The wind blew. My face was refreshed. My lips formed into a smile thinking about what was going on right now. I never wanted to let this moment go.

Morgan's POV

Cameron gave me a piggy back ride down to the lobby. We were going to hide there.

He set me down behind a potted plant. Cameron got up to find somewhere else to go so that we weren't so obvious with our hiding places.

Then a fan came into the hotel. She was tall and blond with deep blue eyes. When the girl spotted Cameron before he got to find a hiding place they talked and stuff.

Looking through the leaves of the plant that I was behind I saw the girl lean in to give him a kiss. On the lips to. He kissed back. It was heating up and fast.

Tears flooded my eyes as I ran out from behind the plant and up the stairs. If I waited for the elevator then I would have had to stand there for a while.

Cam had never done this to me before. I had never thought that he could be such a bad person and cheat on me like that.

But there's always a first time for everything Morgan.

I was halfway up the stairs when I just stopped and slid down the wall to cry. I could feel my makeup running but I didn't care. Cameron had crushed me and my heart into a billion little pieces.

My phone buzzed in my pocket. It was a message from Mackenzie.

From: Mackenzie😜💕- Where are you? Come to my room. We've been looking all over for you!

To: Mackenzie😜💕- Okay I'll be right there.

It had been that long since I've been crying? My phone buzzed again and it was from Cameron.

From: Cameron- Why did you leave me???

I ignored it and used the palms of my hands to wipe away my tears before I went upstairs. I got up and tried to get all of the wrinkles out of my clothes. Then I walked upstairs.

When I got to the room I struggled to knock on the door. Cam was in there.

Just face it Morgan. Get it over with. Break it off with him.

I knocked and soon enough somebody answered the door. Guess who it was?

Cam.

Just what I wanted.

"Cam come out here for a second. I need to talk to you." I looked down at my feet and crossed my arms across my chest before starting.

"We're done." He looked at me with sadness in his eyes. My eyes met his.

"But why? I didn't do anyth-"

That's when I bursted.

"CAMERON I SAW YOU AND THAT GIRL MAKING OUT. DO YOU THINK THAT IM STUPID? WE'RE DONE OK? JUST LEAVE ME ALONE FOR THE REST OF THE TRIP!"

With that I faced my back towards him and knocked at the door again. This time Taylor answered it.

I brushed past him and sat down in the corner next to Mackenzie and Jack Gilinsky.

Everybody was silent. Until Mackenzie whispered to me.

"What happened?" I told her the whole story but I made sure I was quiet enough so that only she would hear me.

Mackenzie looked at me with sympathy in her eyes and said out loud, "Oh Morgan I'm so sorry."

Cameron must have heard it because he walked out of the room slamming the door behind him. When he was gone everybody turned to me.

Matt asked me, "So now that he's gone what happened?"

I told them what I told Mackenzie. "Aww it will be okay," Hayes said from beside Mackenzie.

How could a trip so good like this go so wrong?

Mackenzie's POV

We all talked for a few hours and made a few stupid vines here and there. At 1:45 a.m. everybody left for their own rooms to go to bed.

Hayes stayed back to ask me a question. "Hey babe can I sleep here tonight? I want to have a cudddddlleee buuuudddy to sleep with." I laughed and agreed. How could I say no to that face?

"Use protection!" Sayge yelled from her bed. I blushed and Hayes laughed.

I had decided to shower in the morning so I just grabbed some clothes from my dresser and went to the bathroom to change. When I was dressed I put my hair up into a messy bun. Then I walked back out into the room.

Hayes was under the covers already. As I got closer I noticed that he was sleeping!

I laughed and plopped into the spot beside him. "Goodnight Sayge!" I whispered across the room to her.

"Night!" she whispered back. I reached over to the lamp to shut it off. I also put my phone in the charger. When I was done I laid back down next to Hayes and pulled the covers over my body. I fell asleep almost instantly.
