I wrote this update in advance so here goes nothing!

Mackenzie's POV

***1 WEEK LATER***
I've been in the hospital for a week and today was the day that I could finally go home!

Everyday that I've been here Hayes has visited me and a few times he spent the night resting by my side. He's so sweet!

During the week I had my foot cast taken off. When I try to walk on it I only limp a little bit but that's about it. My arm cast is still on and I have a sling for it. My doctor told me that I'm going to be able to get it taken off in 2 days.

Sayge had brought me an outfit from my hotel room from my dresser yesterday that I could get changed into when I left the hospital to go home. She also dropped off some my makeup bag with some hair elastics to.

I called in for a nurse and I saw one come in. "Yes Ms. Smith?" she asked.

"May I get changed into my normal clothes for when I go home?" I asked.

She smiled at me and said, "sure just be careful in the bathroom with your arm." And with that she walked out and let me have my privacy as I walked into my private bathroom with my clothes and my makeup bag.

The bottoms were plain black short leggings and the top was a light pink muscle tee that had aqua writing on it. It said, "Not all who wander are lost."

After I put my white bandeau bra on and some clean underwear on I got dressed quickly. I took out my concealer and started applying it to my face. When I had finished doing my mascara and eyeliner I had to do my hair.

All I did to my hair was put it in a messy side braid. I didn't care if I looked bad, all that mattered at this point was that I was going home!

About an hour after getting ready to leave Vanessa drove Hayes to come and pick up me and Nash. Did I mention that he was leaving to?

Nash didn't have anymore casts on. He was all healed and everything was ok with him.

When Hayes walked in I stood up to go and give him a hug.

"Thank goodness you're leaving today! I think I would've died without you if you had to spend another day here." He gently rubbed the back of my head, comforting me.

"I'm ready to go! Just let me get my purse first." I grabbed it and we left. Hayes reached down for my hand and he grabbed it. I looked into his eyes and grinned at him. He winked back at me.

Once we were in the car Vanessa was waiting for us. Apparently Nash made it to the car before we did. I think he fell asleep in the front seat.

Vanessa started driving towards the hotel when it started raining really heavy. There was a storm warning on the radio saying to stay off of the roads while the storm passed through.

All the way to the hotel it was silent. I had my head rested on Hayes's shoulder and his arm was wrapped around my waist. As I stared out the car window I watched as houses passed by and so did a few cars. Leaves on palm trees were swaying back and forth and rain was blanketing the window.

Vanessa parked the car in the hotel parking lot and we ran in together shielding our selves from the rain but that didn't work to well. We all got soaked as we bursted into the lobby laughing together.

Hayes picked me up bridal style and whispered in my ear, "I'm so glad that you're back."

With that I looked over at his face and lightly kissed his cheek.

Hayes's POV

When Mackenzie kissed my cheek she gave me butterflies. Her lips felt like candy. I missed them while she was in the hospital.

"Do you have to leaaavve alreadyyyy?" Mackenzie whined as I put her down in front of her room door.

"You have to get some rest with that arm. Now go take a nap and get some sleep! Trust me it will help your arm get better faster.

When I had finally convinced Mackenzie to go and get some rest I quietly closed her door and went to my room. Everybody was in there and I went over to get out a plastic Walmart bag filled with silly string cans for everyone to spray at Mackenzie while she's sleeping.

I had finished passing out the cans and then I told everybody to take the plastic off of their cans, to shake up the cans and then to take the caps of of the cans so that they were ready to use them.

We all got up and began to tiptoe to Mackenzie's room. As we got to the door we stopped when we heard crying.

"I-I-it's all m-my fault t-that Nash end-ded up in t-the hospital. I was the one who called him an asked him to drive me to try and find Hayes-s-s."

It broke my heart. Everybody quietly sat on the floor but I looked into the keyhole really quickly. I saw her picking up a razor so I had to stop her from what she was about to do.

I banged my fists on the door and asked if I could come in. The rest of the gang just went into their own rooms except Sayge who was supposed to be in Mackenzie's room.

A few seconds later Mackenzie walked up to the door and tried to act like she had just woken up. As soon as I saw her I looked down at her wrists. Thank goodness they weren't cut.

"What's wrong?" she asked in a groggy voice.

All I could do was hug her. At first she was confused but then I think at point she put all of the pieces together in her mind.

"You heard me, didn't you?" Mackenzie said while still hugging me. Tightly, to.

"Yes and I didn't want to lose you. Just please stay strong for me. Please. I love you to much to loose you."

With that said Mackenzie grabbed my hand and led me into her bed to cuddle. Soon enough sleep took over Mackenzie. She had her arms wrapped around my neck and I had mine around her waist.

I soon found myself sound asleep.
