Nash, The Love Expert

Mackenzie's POV

"I heard some things from Hayes. A little while ago before he invited that weird girl over I passed by his room. The door was cracked open."

I sat there and waited patiently. My phone vibrated in my pocket. It must be Shawn.

"Hayes was talking to himself. He was saying stuff that I couldn't understand. But I heard him say your name a few times. He picked up what looked like an album. Hayes opened the cover and there were a bunch of pictures of you guys. I think it was all of you both. And when he was finished he put the book down by his side on the floor."

My throat formed a lumped.

"So Hayes made his way to his desk and got out a piece of paper and a pen. And that's when he began writing. As he was writing he mumbled somethings out loud. I heard him crying a bit and he just put his head down on the paper, crying. Hayes picked his head up. He grabbed the letter and taped it to the front of the album. I then saw him put some shoes on. That's when I ran. He was going somewhere with the album. Maybe you'll find it or something. But Mackenzie...can I say something without you being offended or upset?"

I nodded, still managing to keep back that lump that was still in my throat.

"I don't think he ever meant to hurt or loose you. Don't get me wrong he was a jerk for cheating on you quite a few times. But I've never seen Hayes cry. Mackenzie I think Hayes is in love with you. He can be stupid and mess around with other girls when he really loves someone. And that's because he really wants your attention. To see if you really care enough to still love him through everything. To give him more chances. And all up until this last cheating incident you have been so loving. Giving him all those chances. But now that you broke up with Hayes he's trying to get your attention by going out with this other girl whose name I don't even know. He doesn't even like her. Trust me, you should've seen his face when she first came here. What I'm trying to say here is that Hayes really loves you. And I've never seen him so in love before. I know that it sounds ridiculous giving how old you both are but forget what the other people say. That you're to young to be in love. True love doesn't have to only happen when you're older. It can happen right now. Whatever your heart tells you you follow it. No matter how risky or stupid it can be."

I was crying by now. Nash got up and came over to me. I hugged him and cried into his shoulder.

"You really think he loves me Nash?"

"Yes. But if you want to get him back than I have a plan. You're going to have to play hard to get for this plan to work." I smiled because I loved playing hard to get. It looked like so much fun in the movies.

I sat up and was finished crying. I wiped my palm across my face to get rid of the dried tears.

"So what's the plan, Nash?"
