Time to talk about this movie.... As you'd probably expect I love this movie. We get 4 monsters in 1 movie!

This movie is special for a number of reasons.
It introduces us to Godzilla's biggest villain in the entire series. King Ghidorah.

I love the design of this thing. It's amazing. My only complaint is that I wish King Ghidorah had arms but oh well.

This movie is also special because for the 2nd film in a row. Toho was able to take a monster who starred in their own movie and bring them over into the Godzilla series.

And that monster is Rodan! The character made their debut in the 1955 film of the same name (also directed by Ishiro Honda)

This movie also includes Mothra. Although as it turns out one of the Mothra larvae from Mothra vs. Godzilla had died. An official reason was never given but I assume the financial reason was due to budgeting.

As far as the human plot line goes for this movie it's rather odd

As far as the human plot line goes for this movie it's rather odd. There's some princess who is being pursued by assassins and then her body gets overtaken by aliens (people from Venus or Mars depending on what version you watch). This grants her psychic abilities where she is able to predict the future and throughout the movie she tries to warn everyone about the incoming threat of King Ghidorah. I'm not exactly sure why the aliens chose her considering she is being targeted but it gives out other human characters something to deal with throughout the film.

This is also the movie where Godzilla makes his big face turn and teams up with both Rodan and Mothra to take out King Ghidorah. Its the best part of this movie. After Mothra tries to convince Godzilla and Rodan to stop fighting in a really funny scene where the twin fairies are translating what the monsters are saying the little baby larvae tries to take on King Ghidorah on its own but fails miserably. Then in the most triumphant moment of the movie we see Godzilla come in with Rodan to kick King Ghidorah's ass. Seeing these monsters work together to overcome this larger threat in King Ghidorah is truly spectacular. It's one of my favorite scenes in the entire Godzilla series.

In the end they manage to fend of King Ghidorah who flees the planet and everything seems good

I can't wait for 2019 to see all 4 of these characters come together for Legendary Pictures "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" It's going to be epic!

Anyways thank you all for reading. Sorry this one took a bit longer to post and that it's pretty short. We can continue to discuss this movie in the comment section. I'll be sure to update the next part next week. So yeah have a good one!
