One with spirits

Spirit realm

I heard footsteps and I slightly turned my head to the source of the noise to see a group and medic nin including the hokage. When they saw me they rushed to me. The hokage kneeled in front of me.

"What happened?" She asked.

"An explosion went off and and I went flying into this rock." I said.

"Where does it hurt?"

"Everywhere."

"We're going to have to do emergency surgery but before we begin we have to examine you to see where he main damage is."

She took my cloths off and put me into a board and flipped me to my stomach carefully. She began gently probing my back and told me to tell her when and if the pain got worse. She started at my lower back and kept going up and when she reached in between my shoulders blades sharp pains like burning daggers went down my back and I hissed in pain.

~~~~Tsunade's pov~~~~

She not surprisingly hissed in pain when I got between her shoulder blades. She was internally bleeding mainly from that point. I saw the worried looks of the other medic nin because if her spinal cord got to badly injured she would be paralysed form there down making her unable to do anything.

"Okay Hitomi we're going to put you on   anesthesia." I said.

"Lady hokage anesthesia doesn't affect me and most pain killers don't either because I grew immune to them when I was with Orochimaru." She said.

The other medics started freaking out but I knew what we had to do. We had to do the surgery without anesthesia but that would be extremely painful for Hitomi.

"Hitomi this surgery has to be done but if we do it now you will feel everything." I explained.

"I was tourched when I was a kid I'm sure I can deal with this. Besides nothing would be more painful than being paralysed and not being able to protect he people I care for." She said.

"Very well we'll being soon and don't be afraid to pass out."

~~~~Hitomi's pov~~~~

I felt the cool metal of the scalpel press against my back and cut into my skin. More pain added to on the the alread excruciating pain and tears filled my eyes but I fort to hold them back as well as my screams. The pain continued and a few screams escaped my mouth and my tears spilled. Memories of being with Orochimaru soon filled my head and now my mental pain and physical pain moulded together and another scream ripped through the air.

"Rico please take me somewhere I won't have to feel this pain." I begged.

"Very well Hitomi." Rico said.

I let myself drift out of reality and I was in a completely dark area but Rico soon manifested beside me. I placed my hand on his fur and followed him though the darkness. I soon felt soft grass beneath my feet and the surroundings soon morphed in a beautiful lush green area with large trees and different kinds of unique creatures inhabited the are.
