Tsundere

I wiped the sweat off of my forehead as I looked up at the sky. After I woke up everything was over and now we were rebuilding the village.

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned to see Choji there looking at me worried. He took the materials I was carrying and began walking. I sighed and walked beside him.

"You know I can carry them myself." I said.

"You're still injured. You should be resting." He said.

My arms crossed against my chest as I glared at him.

"Excuse me you're also injured l. And you know full well I heal quickly. So with your idea, I should be carrying it." I shot back.

Choji stopped and looked at me with worry in his eyes. I was slightly taken aback by how serious he looked.

"You made me worry. I thought you were dead. Consider this payback for saving me." He said.

I smiled and jumped up hugging him. I looked into his eyes and gave him a gentle smile. I soon got off of him and placed my hand on his cheek.

"Don't blame yourself for my injuries. They are mine to bear not yours." I said calmly.

"But if you didn't protect me-" he began but I cut him off.

I stood on my tippy toes and pecked his lips. I watched as he blushed furiously. I smiled and took half the materials. I walked beside the flustered boy.

I held back my giggles as I watched Choji. He was so adorable. He turned to me to see me struggling to not laugh and he frowned.

"Stop making fun of me." He mumbled obviously embarrassed.

We put the materials down I jumped behind on of Choji's back and I hugged him. He stumbled a bit but held me up.

"Aw look at the cute couple." Ino coed.

I smile while Choji again blushed.

"You two have been dating for a while why do you still get so flustered when Hitomi shows you affection?" Ino asked.

"Because he's not used to it. And Hitomi does it out of the blue with no warning." A familiar lazy voice said.

I waved at Shikamaru who just showed up. We all looked at each other and a common thought ran through our head.

"How's lady Tsunade doing?" I asked getting off Choji.

"She still in a coma. Hey, do you think that special chakra you have can help?" Ino asked.

I looked down and shook my head. Rico was also beyond exhausted. However, I was planning something.

"Don't worry. I'm sure lady Tsunade will be fine. She's tough I have no doubt she'll wake up soon and bring this village back in its feet." I said with a smile.

They nodded and we all went back to work. However, I was on break so I walked through the forest outside our crater of, a village. I looked up at the sky with a sigh.

I heard a branch snap and I quickly spun around to see Gethan. I smiled and kneeled down and stroked his fur.

"I heard what happened to your village." He said.

"Yea but there were no casualties. The village can be rebuilt. But I have to ask a favour if that okay?" I said.

He looked at me and I looked away nervously.

"Do you think that maybe some spirits can go watch over the Hokage. Also, there is being a new Hokage appointed soon. Can you also keep an eye on them?" I asked.

Gethan sighed and I felt my mood drop even more. I knew I was asking for too much. Dammit, this is why I don't ask for help.

"Fine." He said.

I looked at him to see him walking away. I smiled.

"Thank you Gethan." I called.

"I'll do anything to stop that damn Rico from becoming depressed and venting to me." He groaned.

"Such a tsundere." I said with a laugh.
