Becoming a jounin

I stood in front of the hokage because she asked to see me after hearing from the BBQ restaurant owner about my episode the other day. She wanted to check on me because she was worried about my mental health.

"I assure you lady hokage I am completely fine. I can care for myself and I promise if anything serious happens I will take care of myself and go to the hospital." I said.

"Very well just don't over work yourself you're a very strong ninja and it would be bad if you were to become out of commission. You're dismissed." The hokage said.

I nodded and bowed to her before going to leave but as I was about to open the door Naruto and Sakura walked in.

"Well look what the cat dragged in. Long time no see dork." I said smiling at Naruto.

"Oh hey Hitomi. I didn't expect to see you. You've gotten pretty." Naruto said smiling.

I felt someone grabbed my wrist and I was pulled past Sakura and Naruto into Choji's arms.

"Don't forget Naruto she taken." Choji said holding me close.

"You're getting possessive." I said with a laugh.

"Of course I am. You're perfect and I won't let anyone take you from me." Choji said.

I heard Sakura start fangirling as well Ino who I just noticed behind us and Shikamaru just complained of how much of a drag this was.

"Well cho I've gotta go because I've got some shit to do." I said kissing Choji on the cheek and walked away from the group of people.

I was walking through the streets when a gust of wind blew past me and I got the feeling of impending doom. I shivered slightly and the wind was gone as quickly as it came.

"Rico." I mumbled.

"I know I felt that to." Rico said.

"Great life just keeps getting better doesn't it." I groaned.

"At least it's never boring." Rico said with a sigh.

I rolled my eyes and kept walking through the village. However I stopped when an ANBU jumped in front of me.

"Lady hokage wishes to see you." He said.

I sighed and turned around heading back to the hokages office which is where I just came from. I walked back into the office to see Tsunade doing paperwork.

"I forgot to mention you're now a jounin." The hokage said.

I legit fell to the ground in shock.

"Allow me to explain. Your former sensei Masaaki challenged you to that fight to test your skills to see if you were a jounin level. He and the other jounin watching thought you were jounin level. So now you're a jounin" shizune explained.

I nodded and I was dismissed. I left the office and began walking home with a blank expression as I thought about the new information. Being deep in thought I full on hit someone making me fall on my ass. I stood up and looked at the person to see my sensei.

"Mother fucker. Can you watch where you're going sensei." I mumbled.

"You know you don't have to call me sensei anymore." My sensei said ruffling my hair.

"Trust me you're not losing that title any time soon fucker." I said smiling.

He laughed and messed up my hair before disappearing. I groaned and fixed my hair and went back home.
