One with spirits

pregnant?

I sat in a tree and I saw Shikamaru waking around obviously thinking about something. He suddenly looked at the tree I was in and I gave him a small wave. I jumped down an he looked at me in thought.

"you battled the two Akatsuki members right?" he asked,

I nodded and he dragged me back to his house and we sat at a shoji board. he moved first and then I did. I know why he dragged me here. he wanted information on the two I fort because he was planning something. but I wanted to know what he was planning first so I knew I wasn't giving him information just so he goes and gets himself killed. but even if I don't tell him he will do what he's planning anyway so if I give him information there's a more likely chance of him surviving. 

"what do you want to know?' I asked resting my head in my hand.

"everything." He said.

I gave him a small nod and told him everything I learnt as we played shoji. he listened intently to what I said and I watched his face carefully. I could practically hear the gears moving in his head. a sigh escaped my mouth and Shikamaru looked at me confused.

"don't get yourself killed Shikamaru. because it seems I suck at saving people." I mumbled. 

he gave a nod and we fished our match in Shikamaru's favour. I soon left and wandered around the village and found myself in the graveyard in front of Ichiro's grave. I kneeled down and placed my hand on it.

"I will protect my family and the village like you did. I will carry your legacy." I mumbled.

"he would be proud of you." Rico said.

I gave a small smile. I heard footsteps and I looked behind me to see Hikaru, Takeo's lady friend. if I was right I believe they were dating. she gave e a small wave and I returned it. I looked at her stomach as I felt something it was weak but there was something there.

"she's pregnant. she probably doesn't know yet. and I surprised you could sense the baby so early." Rico explain. 

I gave a small nod and gave a small smile to Hikaru. she placed a flower down on Ichiro's grave. I saw her look sadly down but I didn't say anything I just stood there.

"you're such a strong young lady." She spoke. 

I looked at her not understanding what she was talking about making her slightly laugh.

"both your uncles have nothing but praise about you. they're so proud. You've probably been through so much pain and yet I still see you smile. you're like a strong wall that continues to stand despite how many times it gets hit." she said in thought. 

I gave a small hum hearing what she said and processing it. I held onto the butterfly necklace Choji got me and stared at it. a small smile came to my face. one of the reasons I could stay strong was because of him. I don't know what I would do without Choji, or Rico who have kept me alive this long. I would be dead now if not for him. I'm grateful for Rico he's always there for me.he may not talk all the time but just knowing he's with me is comforting.
