Akatsuki attack

Days passed and I spent them training the kid, however, a lot happened Naruto returned to find out Jiraiya died and he was in a bad state but he had people to drag him out of it. And now we just had to worry about an attack on the leaf. After all the Akatsuki was still after Naruto. Or the nine tails.

Right now the kid stood in front of me and I handed him a piece of paper. Hot out it between his fingers and I smiled when it was cut in half.

"You have wind type chakra." I said.

I watched him smile but my eyes narrowed as explosions went off. I looked to where it was to see giant centipedes attacking the village. Kuro leapt up and began running towards the explosions. I sighed as I went after him. However, a centipede came towards him. It was about to attack him but like fuck I was going to let that happen. I brought my hands together and did multiple hand signs. Wind style one thousand blades.

Wind blades shot at the centipede cutting it into little pieces. I ran up beside the kid to see fear on his face. He turned to look at me and I just smiled.

"You need to do a really important mission. Got get all the non-ninja and get them to the underground tunnels." I said.

He looked up at me and nodded before running off. I took a deep breath cracking my knuckles. It seems it's finally time for me to protect my friends. I ran into the village and a centipede was about to attack a small child and a granny. I leapt up above it and did multiple hand signs. As I did this Sakura appeared and punched the summoning. As it flew backwards I finished my jutsu. Wind style one thousand blades. The same attack I used when protecting Kuro.

I turned to Sakura and we nodded to each other. She went to head towards the hospital by I stopped her thankful that Rico agreed. I grabbed her arm and sent some of Rico's chakra into her which shocked her.

"What?" She asked.

"I don't have time to explain but this chakra is perfect for medical ninjutsu. You're much more skilled than me in that so put good use to it." I said.

She nodded and I returned the nod. We ran in different directions. I saw another centipede and I stood in front of it ready to take it out. It went to strike at me but I jumped onto a roof dodging it. I watched the ground smash and I winced.

"Don't get hit by it." Rico said.

"Oh, really I was planning on doing that. Darn, you have to ruin my plans." I said sarcastically with an eyes roll.

"Now is not the time Hitomi." Rico said.

I nodded and pulled out my wooden cylinder and put my chakra into it. It turned into my staff. I came down on the centipede and my staff went through its head causing it to go up in smoke. I went to keep walking but my brother stopped me handing me a box. I opened it to see two familiar fans.

"Ichiro wanted you to have them. They could help." He said before jumping away.

I held the box firmly. Thank you, Ichiro. I will protect my home.
