to late

(i'm starting to feel a bit better so I decided to update today. I hope you like it and I'm sorry that I'm taking so long t update. I hope you all have lovely lives)  

I leapt through trees but I froze when my surroundings and a growl escaped my mouth. does he really think he could keep me in a genjutsu considering Rico was bound to me? Rico got me out of the genjutsu. 

"as much as I don't want to admit it I think you'll have to deal with him first," Rico said with a sigh.

"you have got to be kidding me. I don't have time but you're right." I growled.

I turned to looked at the guy and glared. There has to be a way to get him to leave. I went to run at him but he grabbed my neck and held me up. I kicked him but my foot went through him eyes went slightly wide. I pulled my leg out and just glared at him. 

"let me the fuck go."I spat with venom.

"what's the rush." He asked.

I grabbed a rope and tied a kunai to the end and threw it to a tree and managed to pull myself out of the guy's grasp. 

"how long do you think a clone can hold him off?" I asked through our mind. 

"I'm not sure but it's worth a try." Rico said.

I gave a small nod and created a c wind clone before running off. as I was running I set up a few traps. however, suddenly my clone disappeared and the guy appeared in front of me.

"leave me the fuck alone I have shit to do." I spat. 

I went to attack him but froze when my surroundings changed. I looked and my eyes went wide as Hindan held a metal rod through his body. I turned to see Asuma spew blood and collapse to the ground. for some reason, they left and I returned to the present and I leaned against a tree trunk. I was too late. I was too fucking late. I began to shake as tears filled my eyes. the guy walked up to me and I glared at him. 

"I suggest you back the fuck up." I growled. 

I heard a laugh and anger grew in me. my fists clenched as I began to shake with anger. I leapt off the ground and aimed a punch and ended up faceplanting into a tree. I growled as I began to shake in anger. I so fucking stupid I could have saved Asuma but I fuck up like I always do.

I hear the guy coming closer and I punched the tree next to me down and glared at the idiot. 

"I warned you to back the fuck up!" I growled.

I could practically feel him smiling beneath that mask. I cracked my knuckles. however, he soon stopped and sighed. and he disappeared shocking me. I shook it off before running to where Asua was maybe I could heal him but maybe I can still save. I leapt through the forest ad soo came to my destination. I ran up to see he was on the roof with his team. when Choji saw me his eyes went wide.

"Hitomi can you do something." I asked obviously desperate. 

Ino kneeled beside him and I saw the pain on her face. I hovered my hand above his body and pushed Rico's Chakara into Asuma's body but I soon stopped and walked away knowing I couldn't do anything. I was not skilled in healing the only reason I can do it is because Rico's Chakra is perfect or healing. Shikamaru and Choji looked up at me and I simply shook my head. I jumped down and let them have their final moments with their sensei.
