One with spirits

Don't trust everyone

My test was soon over and my prediction of more than half failing was correct. Soon the genin follow the next instructor and the chunin and jounin who helped with my stage went home leaving me alone. I soon began on my way to a place with waterfalls also where I usually train with Ichiro so I could meditate.

My head was full of so many thoughts and I just needed to clear my head. I made my way to the waterfalls and began meditating. I took deep breaths in emptying my mind. After meditating for about an hour I felt something wrap around me.  I tried to move but couldn't. I also tried to open my eyes but couldn't.

"Who are you?" I managed to say.

"Be careful child. Do not follow in my footsteps. Not everyone is trustworthy." A male voice said.

"Who are you?" I asked again.

"That doesn't matter. I just wanted to warn you to be careful." He said before disappearing.

My eyes opened and I collapsed to the ground breathing heavily. I felt my right wrist slightly burning and I looked at it to see the mark on my wrist was slightly glowing a deep green. For some reason I felt that person was the first person given the title one with spirits.

I stood up and to deep.

"Rico." I mumbled.

"Yes that was the spirit of the first person to be given the title one with spirits. He was giving you a warning because he was killed by the person he trusted most." Rico explained.

"Will I suffer the same fate as him?" I asked.

"No. You chose your fate. And I won't let you die Hitomi. You're everything to me." Rico said with confidence.

I sighed. I wasn't going to let Rico give his life for me. The ironic thing is I went to meditate to clear my head and now I have even more thoughts in my head. I was actually really on edge after that thing.

I felt someone behind me and I grabbed my wooden cylinder putting my chakra into it and went to hit the person behind me but suddenly stopped when I saw Hikaru the lady friend of uncle Takeo.

"I'm sorry I'm just a bit jumpy." I apologised to her giving a small bow.

"It's fine. I should k is better than to walk up behind a ninja." She said with a small smile.

"Is there something you wanted?" I asked.

"Um well I was wondering if you know what type of food Takeo likes." She said.

"He likes beef balls and beef anus." I said smiling.

She blushed deep and I covered my mouth stifling a laugh. She looked at me with a shocked face and I fell to the ground laughing.

"You know Hitomi that wasn't very nice." Rico said.

"Yes but it's rather funny to watch her reaction." I said to Rico.

"Are you kicking with me?" She asked.

"I'm sorry I just couldn't help myself." I said wiping away my tears.

"You're just like your uncle." She mumbled.

"My uncle will love anything you make. It's the thought that counts. But just between you a i he likes spicy food." I said.

"Thank you." She said and went away.

A smile came Timmy face. She was sweet.
