Promised

I stood in front of the akimichi house and after I knocked Choji's dad opened the door then called for Choji and smiled at me. a second later Choji was at the door with a huge smile on his face and we soon began our way to god knows where.

"You look really pretty Hitomi just like always." He said with a smile and a small blush came to my face.

"Thanks Choji and I must say you're looking rather dashing." I said with a smirk and it was Choji's turn to blush.

He led me to the place where we use to eat lunch together and it had a lovely view of the sunset. He then then pulled out a picnic basket and blanket out of god knowns where. We both sat down and viewed the sun setting. We soon began eating and Choji dug in that was one of the many many things I love about him. I ate as well very much enjoying the food.

"Hey Cho who made this?" I asked pointing to the food.

"Me." He said sheepishly.

"Damn you're a good cook." I said with a smile.

We soon finished the food and now we're cuddling watching the now dark sky. Choji began to move and before i knew it our lips were connected. My eyes widened for a second before I closed them enjoying the kiss. What felt like all to soon we separated and we both had blushes on our faces.

"I love you Hitomi." Choji said meeting my gaze.

"I love you two Choji." I said with a smile.

He was holding my hand and with his other he began to dig through his pocket and pulled out a box he opened it to reveal two rings. One had forever on it and the other saying always and on the inside was Choji + Hitomi. I looked up at Choji shocked.

"There promise rings. A object to say that We one day will become engaged and then married. A promise to say we will stay fateful to each other, will give all our love to one another. To say we'll love each other no matter what. To keep any promise or secrets . To say we want each other forever. And to always return to each other. Will you accept this Hitomi?" Choji said and I could tell he was nervous.

My heart filled with so many emotions but one main one and that was love. I hugged Choji and kissed him.

"Of course I do. I love you Choji and I always will." I said happily.

He hugged me tightly and I was given the ring with always on it. I put it on and Choji put the other on. We laid down in each other's arms and watched the stars for awhile.

Soon we stood up and packed up. Choji walked me home and gave me a kiss goodbye and when I walked inside I saw my family sitting there. Once I made sure Choji was gone I let out a squeal of joy shocking my family. They all looked at me wanting to know what happened. I held out my hand showing them the ring.

"Choji got promise rings." I said in glee than fell onto the coach.

"WAIT WHAT!" Mamoru yelled shocked.

"If he hurts you I'll beat him." Takeo said.

"I'm happy for you Hitomi." Ichiro said with a smile.

"Hitomi I'm really glad you're happy." Rico said.

I just stayed in a daze replaying the date in my head a thousand times.
