One with spirits

ITSUKI

I jumped out of the tree but felt something tug on my hair and I quickly captured the creature. I brought my hands in front of me and opened them to see the cutest little creature ever. It was green and looked like an owl crossed with a Squirrel. I looked down at the creature with astonishment. Then I realised people giving me wired looks.

"Hey Rico I'm the only person that can see this little guy aren't I?" I asked.

"Yep." He said.

"So I look like I'm insane right now don't I!" I asked.

"Yes." Rico said with a small laugh.

I looked down to hide a small blush and ran back home and into my room. I sat on my bed and the little spirit jumped out of my hands and walked on my bed. I watched him and noticed a small toy in his hands. I tilted my head in curiosity.

The spirit found his way to my pillows and rolled around in them and soon fell asleep. I looked at the spirit and a small smile came to my face. I put my finger on his head and gently stroked his head. And he made a sound kinda like purring.

"DINNER GET OUT HERE AND EAT!" Ichiro yelled.

I walked out of my room and saw Mamoru running to the kitchen. I sighed and sat down at he table were the food. It was spaghetti. Mamoru and Takeo dug in while Ichiro and I slowly ate.

"So Hitomi why were you in a rush to get to your room?" Ichiro asked.

I started coughing. Mamoru stated patting my back and I soon stopped chocking. Ichiro stared at me and I stared back. Then a crash came from my room. I looked to it and quickly ran to it and I went pale. My room was a mess and there in the middle of it was the little spirit standing there innocently. I slid to the floor in shock.

The three stood behind and they all looked confused. I soon glared at the spirit and began to chase it around my room which confused my family even more. The spirit was fast and it annoyed me.

"You damn spirit get here now. You think I won't be pissed after you messed up my room!" I snapped.

"It's official my sister has gone insane." I heard Mamoru mumble

I turned and glared at my brother and he froze. I turned back to the spirit and he hid under my bed. I kneeled down and grabbed the spirit. I lifted him to my face and he shivered in fear. I sighed and pocked the spirit. I heard my family leave and the spirit looked up at me confused.

"Listen here buddy. You can stay if you want but no messing up my room also how about you tell me your name bud." I said with a sigh.

"My name is Itsuki miss Hitomi. It's a pleasure to meet the human that has recently gain the title one with spirits." The spirit said in a surprisingly deep voice and a bow.

"Just call me Hitomi." I said pacing the spirit down.

He nodded and I went to cleaning up my room and grumbling while I did so.
