I sat at the lake waiting for Kuro to show up. however, as I sat there my surroundings changed. please not now. I stood to see Jiraiya standing off with someone from the. I watched as his throat got crushed. and stabbed. Jiraiya died. he's dead. oh no. this can't have happened. I knew it was present because I could tell them apart now. I curled into myself and my surroundings went back to normal. My heart rate was up and I was shaking. I heard footsteps and when the kid saw me he looked shocked.

"are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine. I have to go see the Hokage quickly but I'll be back soon. just practice for a bit." I said struggling to keep my voice from cracking.

he nodded and I rushed to the Hokage's office when I entered I saw the worried look on her face. when she saw me her face turned to dread.

"Hitomi what brings you here?" She asked.

"I had a vision of the present and Jiraiya has... he's been killed lady Hokage." I said.

I watched her face fall and I looked down sadly.

"I'm sorry. I just thought you would wanna know." I said feeling guilty for telling her.

"no, thank you for telling me. you're dismissed." She said.

I nodded and made my way back to the lake. I fucking hate these visions. it has never brought good.Rico stayed quiet and I returned to the lake. I took a deep breath. I had to train the kid so something like this didn't happen to him. I snuck up behind him and threw him into the lake.

"what the fuck you dumb Idiot why the fuck would you throw me into the lake you shitty human." He yelled.

"use your chakra to walk on water however it's constantly moving so you have to constantly august your chakra," I explained.

"he's so much like you. you snapped just like he did when your sensei threw you into a lake to do this." Rico said.

I slightly smiled at this. the kid was a lot like me let's just hope he doesn't turn out useless like me.

"you're not usless." Rico said.

"Name one person I've saved?" I asked. "you can't." I said.

I watched the kid for the rest of the day and he started getting the hang of it but he still had a long way to go. He tried for about five hours and I decided to call it for the day.

"brat that's all for today so follow me." I said.

I watched as he tried to walk across the water to me and he did a bit but mainly swam. he ran to catch up with me and I threw him a towel I brought knowing he would need it. He wrapped it around him and dried himself off. I took him to an ice cream shop and treated him I got green tea flavour and he got mint and choc chip.

he sat down and I watched as a blush erupted on his face when a boy around his age walked by. he had long blue hair and green eyes. his skin was rather pale. I ruffled his hair and he looked down embarrassed. I was putting up a lot of my good mood up for the kid.

"hey sensei what happened earlier when I showed up?" He asked.

"don't worry about it. I'll tell you another time." I said smiling at him.

He looked unconvinced but he had to go home. I watched him and I could tell something was wrong. I'm gonna have to keep a closer eye on him.
