Treating the kid

the boy was still trying to get up the tree. He's Improved but still has a long way to go before he can pass the chunin exam. but I have faith I can beat what he needs to know into him in time. he fell to the ground again and I covered my mouth stifling a laugh. he turned and glared at me an I leaned against a tree smiling. he growled and tried again only to fall. He was stubborn and I liked it. He stared at me for a moment and his eyes narrowed.

"can you show me again?" He asked.

I looked at him suspiciously but nodded. I again walked up the tree and he watched me intently. I jumped back down and he held determination in his eye. He turned back to the tree. my eyes widened as he focused his Chakara almost perfectly. I watched as he walked up to the top of the tree before slipping off. It seems his observation skills are better than I though.I smiled at him and he looked at me. I was very impressed.

"You're more proud than impressed though." Rico said.

I gave a small nod agreeing with him. The kid soon did it more time to perfect it and he had it down pat. He walked in front of me and I placed my hand on his head. I watched him finch which hurt because I pretty sure I know why. I ruffled his hair and he looked at me shocked. So the kids was use to abuse.

"Come on kid I'll treat you to some BBQ." I said.

Kuro walked behind me making me sigh. Looks like the kid won't trust me easily but I don't blame him. As we walked in the head chef walked out smiling at me.

"Hitomi it's good to see you again. Will choji ord your Sensie be coming in later?"He asked.

"I'm not sure. I came here to treat the brat I'm helping out." I said pointing to kuro.

"My how the tables have turned. I remember when your sensei brought you here to treat you after you passed his test." The chef said laughing.

We ordered and the kid looked at me confused.

"You cane here with your sensei?" He asked.

"Yep as well as choji. This is the first place my sesnei treated me to food. And many more were to follow. The best thing about having a sensei is if they like you they'll get you food." I said winking at the kid.

"Who's choji!" He asked

When he said that I was drinking water and I began chocking on it. Once I stopped choking I looked to the side with a small blush on my cheeks.

"Choji is my boyfriend." I mumbled.

The kid started laughing making me glare daggers at me. He met my gaze but kept laughing.

"Why be fuck would someone wanna date you." He asked.

He kept laughing and i felt anger build up in me.

"If you keep talking like that you'll never find a girlfriend or boyfriend." I said.

when I said, boyfriend, he froze and I saw a blush come to his face. He looked away making me smile. So he like guys. I watched him squirm making me smile.

"Do you like guys?" I asked smiling.

"No! Why is that a bad thing." He said getting defensive.

The smile came off my face and I looked at the kid seriously. He met my gaze and I could tell he thought he was in trouble.

"There is nothing wrong with liking the same gender the heart wants what's the heart wants. I think it shows strength to be able to admit you like the same gender. And if someone hates you for that there not worth your time." I said with complete seriousness.

He had a look on shock on his face. The food came and we soon ate. After that the kid went home. I watched him walk as a sigh escaped my night. The poor kid. He must hate himself he's probably been bullied for the way he is. But I'll keep training him and accept him no matter what.

"You're sweet," rico said.

"He's my student. What kind of sensei would I be if I didn't accept who he was? What kind of person would I be if I didn't accept a person for who they are? " I asked.

I heard Rico laugh at me. i smiled slightly Training this kid was my main priority right now.
