Dominican Republic, the one place I've always wanted to live but could never afford. Until this day that is.
Oil is gold here, and Dom, Hans, Tego, Reco, and I are creeping up on an oil truck right now, carrying three oil carts. Even one of these things can make us rich.
With my car in the shop, the plain was switched around a bit, meaning I ride with Dom and do most of the hard work. Which was going to be the plain anyways but this way I can annoy the heck out of my boys while I do it.
"All right, we're good to go," Dom said into the walky that was hooked to his car. His head quickly looked to me, "You got this?"
I smirked, crawling out of the window, "You bet your ass." My butt sat on the window, waiting for Dom to pull his car up closer to the last oil cart. "Don't do anything stupid."
My head looked back into the car, "Ride or die remember?" I said, causing Dom to smirk slightly as he looked back at the road. His attention stayed on the truck as I climbed onto the top of Dom's car, jumping off of it and onto the oil cart.
"Let's make some money boys," I said into my small ear piece that placed me in voicing distance of everyone else.
Dom went on the walky, reaching the other two cars and myself, "Everyone in position."
Hans came over the ear piece, "I thought we'd be robbing banks by now, not some gas truck in the middle of nowhere."
I smirked, climbing the ladder to the top of the last oil cart, making my way to the hooking station where cart 2 and 3 were hooked. "Haven't you done your research Hans? Down here, gas is gold."
Hans came back over the ear piece, "Of course you researched it."
"It might just save your ass someday," I said, descending down the other latter.
Dom came over the radio now, "Kill the chatter! Game time, hit it hard and fast. We got four K left before the downgrade."
I bent down, using my hose that was hooked to my strap that hung over my shoulders to freeze the metal that hooked the two cart together. Once the hook was frozen, I hung onto the second cart latter before kicking the hook.
"Locked and loaded," Han said, as I watched the last cart drive away from us, leaving Tego and Reco to the second one. Dom pulled ahead, keeping the truck at the right speed while not letting him pass.
Clearly, the truck driver was pissed because his horn went off every five seconds. "Okay, T, you're up," Dom said while I made my way on top of the second cart, heading for the hook.
Hans replied with a smartass comment, "Let's see if you can get it under six tries this time, huh, T?"
"It's more like three. Come on, Hans, keep it real," I said, balancing my way over the hook. I started to descend the second cart when Dom came back over the ear piece, "Just one K left. We're running out of road, get in there, brother."
Tego came over the speaker, this time speaking in English, "I got it, I got it."
I sprayed the hook, waiting for it to freeze up when the truck started to wave side to side. My hand gripped the latter tightly, but my body flung side to side like I was a dogs toy.
"Oh Shit!" Dom said, backing up his car to where T was. I looked over the oil cart, seeing where the road would make a sharp right turn, one that this truck would not make.
"T cut loose! Unhitch, unhitch!" Dom yelled before pulling up where I was. "Finish it!" Dom yelled to me through his open window. I kicked the hook once more, throwing my weight down on it. My feet scrapped the scrambled as the ground came into contact with them.
