Thirty-Seven

Harry watched Draco as they walked through the castle.  Draco  was nervous. More nervous than Harry had ever seen him before

"What exactly was he doing?" Harry asked

"He was trying to scare me was all." Draco shrugged not looking at Harry

"Uh huh. Now what was he really doing?" Harry asked

"He was okay look I don't wanna talk about the things he said. I'm just glad you put a stop to it when you did." Draco sighed

"Okay. I didn't know what was happening. All I knew was he was putting you in distress."

"Sometimes that's all it takes to set off an alpha." Sirius said "even the slightest thing upsets me and Remus is all over whatever it is."

"Not all the time." Remus coughed

"Choking there Moony?" Sirius grinned

"Not funny." Harry mumbled as Sirius waggled his eyebrows at Remus

"I'll deal with your cocky butt when we get home." Remus mumbled under his breath hoping no one but Sirius heard him.

"Can't wait." Sirius smirked

"And I need to forget this conversation ever happened." Draco sighed

Remus looked mortified and Sirius just smirked at him. 

"I believe that's ten galleons Harry." Sirius said

"Don't tell you you bet him you could get me to say that!" Remus huffed in faux shock

"I won't tell you then." Sirius shrugged as Harry slipped him 5 galleons

"The rest when I make it to my trunk." He mumbled

"No need for the rest Harry. He's got more than he knows what to do with as it is." Remus told him

Harry shrugged instead on saying anything. 

"Now you're going to have to control yourself a bit better the closer to the moon it becomes. Self control is the one thing I pride myself on more than anything else." Remus said

"I know. It's not my best trait."

"You're like your dad that way. Never had much self control. But Lily on the other hand had tons of it. Maybe you can tap into that." Sirius joked

"You aren't doing to bad for someone your age who's had to deal with many hardships. But yes you need to work at it. We don't want anyone to be killed." Remus told him

"Right." Harry nodded

"I can help with it. I'm pretty good with controlling myself otherwise I'd have killed my father years ago." Draco smirked

"And there's the Malfoy smirk." Harry smiled

"Yes quiet akin to the Black family's trade mark smirk." Remus smiled looking at Sirius

Sirius dramatically rolled his eyes and groaned.

"Now now mustn't be rude Padfoot."

"I'll be what I want to be thank you very much Moony."
