Everyone got seating in the same compartment, Draco sat close to the window with Harry across from him. Sirius slid into the seat next to Draco. Ron and Hermione took the too empty seats beside Harry leaving Remus to sit beside Sirius.
"Alright there Draco?" Sirius asked

"I think I might be going emotionally numb right now. This isn't something I'll handle easily. I kind of shut down my emotions in times of stress." He shrugged at looked out the window

"Your mother needs you right now. Even those negative emotions you're shutting out." Remus said "it will help her see that she needs to drop the research and work with what we have already."

"I know. I just- I was raised to shut your emotions out if they got in the way of your task." Draco sighed

"Think of it this way. This task is to use your emotions to keep you from ending up with your father." Hermione said

Draco nodded thinking. "It might work. I'm still kinda new to expressing emotions that aren't hate to anyway other than my mother."

"He's got you trained to live with him Draco. You're not going to live with him any longer. Ever. You'll come into it all with time. I'm sure of that." Sirius told him

"We're all here to help you whenever you need us." Ron spoke up shocking everyone. "I know I haven't been the nicest towards you. Luna's really helping me with that. She's trying to help me understand why you acted the way you did. It's working. I just need some time"

"Thank you Ron. I really am sorry for anything I've ever said about your family. My father hates yours because he's respected. Arthur Weasley is one of the most respected men in the ministry not because he threatened his way to it but be cause he actually earned it."

"Draco you'd apologized plenty of times. And I've told you every time that I accept your apology." Ron smiled

"Still doesn't feel like enough. Especially since your mother is taking us in." Draco sighed

"That just means you me and Ginny can split chores this summer." Ron laughed

Draco smiled "I'll do my part."

"I don't doubt it. We're not so different when it comes to our pride."

"You're right. You're both horribly prideful." Harry smiled

"Good to see you two getting on." Hermione smiled

"I'm glad you're all putting your past in the past unlike a certain someone's godfather." Sirius smiled

"Don't get me started on him." Draco sighed "he's only my godfather out of respect for your mother."

"I don't see how anyone respected that demon, I know I never did" Sirius smiled

"It was Father's idea."

"Dont you worry about Snape. McGonagall is watching him closely."
