That night Draco and Harry found themselves walking towards the library with Neville and Hermione.
"So this was Luna's idea?" Hermione asked
"Yeah. I think she misses hanging out with us." Harry nodded
"I'm just glad she and Ron are getting along well." Neville said
"So am I. They're a bit different but they make it work." Harry sighed
"Kinda like the rest of us." Hermione said
"Now that I agree with." Draco spoke up.
Neville smiled. "Took the words right out of my mouth."
"It will be nice for all of us to get on friendly terms." Draco sighed
"I don't think there will be much of a problem there." Hermione assured him and looked at Neville
Neville gave a small nod
"Draco have you heard anything from your mother today?" Hermione asked
"This morning. She told me Sirius was trying to help gather a few witnesses to some of the things that went on." Draco told her
"Having any luck?" Neville asked
"Not much. I know how he operates. He's probably already threatening people to keep their silence."
"Is there anyway Dumbledore can help convince them otherwise?" Neville asked
"I'm sure he'll think of something." Draco said
"He always does doesn't he?" Hermione smiled
"Somehow. His mind works different than ours." Harry added with a sly smile
"Fair warning Draco, Luna can be a tiny bit crazy sometimes." Neville offered
"Awfully kind of you to give me a heads up. Since well I've been horrible to you for the last 5 years." Draco said finally addressing the issue
"It's just the way you grew up. I don't blame you so much as I do your father." Neville told him
"I could've handled it better. Let up on you."
"I'm an easy target. Everyone knows that. I really truly don't blame you." Neville insisted
"I'm glad you're all so forgiving." Draco smiled shyly
"The more we learn about your upbringing the more we understand your behavior" Hermione told him
"She's right. I know why I was such an easy target for you. Your aunt and your father hate my parents."
"Mother hated what Bella did to them. She told me to tell you that she truly is sorry for what her sister did. She hates being associated with so many deaths and families torn apart."
"She visits them." Neville murmured
"Your parents?" Harry asked
"Yeah. She brings them Christmas presents and birthday gifts. Usually sweets. Sends me birthday gifts and Christmas presents from them." Neville smiled
"I never knew that." Draco smiled
"Gran never told me until you came to the good side for good. She told me last week. I always thought it was Ron's mum or maybe Seamus's mum."
"Just proves that my mother is a saint." Draco smiled "I'm glad she does that for you."
"So am I. It made me really happy when I was little."
