YN's P.O.V

I felt a weight on the bed I was sleeping in, I slowly peeled my eyes open to see someone sitting on the bed and staring straight at me!

"Ahhh!" I screamed in fear but when my eyes adjusted to the light so I could see the person clearly, I realised it was dad! "DAD!!!" I shouted to him making him laugh,

"It's not funny! You scared the shi-" I was about swear but I remember my dad hates it when I do so,

"What were you about to say buddy?" He said with his eyebrows raised,

"I-I was about to say...you scared the ship out of me...yep I said ship!!?" I said - what a save!

"I thought you said that! Must have misheard you..." He said making us laugh,

"Why the hell were you staring at me!?" I asked,

"I got back from work and you were still sleeping so I came up to give you breakfast," he said placing a tray on my lap which had a plate of pancakes,

"Oh...thanks! But you already went to work??? How long have I been sleeping for?!"

"Well it's 1:37 now..." He said looking at his wrist watch, it looked really expensive because it was a Rolex,

"Woah!! I slept for that long?!"

"Yep! But you did have a 'bad day' yesterday," he said, I nodded and looked down, "are you going to tell me why you had a 'bad day' or are you just going to keep it a secret and stay around my house for no reason," he said as I giggled,

"Nah! I'll tell you..." I said beginning to tell my whole situation from yesterday,

"...that's why I came here! I didn't have anywhere to go?!" I said finishing the story,

"That lying, cheating DIRTBAG!" Dad said looking furious, "I'm happy you came to me buddy...because I'm not going to let that runt anywhere near you after what he's done to my lil' girl," he said stroking my cheek but I removed his hand away from my face,

"God dad! I'm freaking 19, I'm not a little girl anymore," I said laughing,

"Well you're my little girl anyway," he said smiling at me, I frowned,

"That's not what you've been saying all these 5 years when you left!" I said rolling my eyes, "why were you following me at the Ranch and now here?!"

"To get you back buddy!"

"Get me back?? You wouldn't have lost me if you didn't leave," I replied abruptly,

"You mother still hasn't told you why I left has she?" My dad said looking at me, I looked at him confused and shook my head,

"Had to leave buddy...for your mom, you...us!!" He said,

"What're you talking about?!" I said even more confused,

"I was in trouble ok!...deep, deep trouble," he said, I bobbed my head so he would continue, "I-I started gambling and it kept on escalating until I realised I had a problem...I knew i was going to put our family in financial danger, so I left!" He said looking down, I was quite shocked but I was beginning to understand, "all the money your mother and I saved since you were born I used it all! I guess I became addicted by the game so I went to search for help!..but I'm fine now buddy, great actually," he said looking around admiring his new home,

"Did you really earn all of this?!" I said, he stopped looking around and shook his head,

"Truth is I won the house through a lottery and I guess I was lucky to win all these things...but no more! Please lovebug you have to understand that I've changed!" He said holding my hands, I looked at our hands and back to his face, "I got you back and now I don't want to lose you to a stupid life changing game!" He said,
